I did a search on here, but nothing comes up. Does anyone know what time at night the pools close? Thanks!

Main pools have lifeguards and close at 11 pm when they go off duty. Quiet pools are open 24/7.

Word of advice. If you do go out in the middle of the night, look out for critters.....

As far as I know the main pools at each resort close at 11pm. The slides close earlier though, 7pm I believe (maybe 8).

If you look online you can find the phone number for your resort and call them to find the exact hours.

Have fun!

The published numbers for the resorts go to a CCC, not the actual resort. I have noted a few posts where you have suggested to call the resort directly to get the answer to a specific question.

Quite frankly, people post questions on here knowing a CM will give an incorrect answer.
If the CM has had proper training, they will give the answer I quoted that is correct. If they have not been properly trained, they will tell you the pools close at dusk or some other answer.

As a veteran, it is best to offer a correct answer and not suggest calling the CCC.

The main pool at the Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas which is Luna Park is open 24 hours a day according to the Boardwalk information channel, but their slide closes at 10:00 PM and that's when the Lifeguards are finished working.

The hours will be posted on a sign at the pool, plus also written in your resort newsletter or brochure when you arrive. We stay at DVC resorts and I haven't seen a pool (leisure pool) open 24/7. They usually have posted hours. But if you are quiet, they don't mind you swimming beyond the posted hours. When you start getting noisy, the resort security may ask you to leave the pool.

During our week at POR recently, they closed often...for floaters:scared1:

They were open at night .
the pool bar was still open around 10pm or so...eventhough there were few people and it was chilly, that did suprise me! My kids were swimming and I was able to get a shot of irish whiskey to pour into my coffee! Nice:rotfl:

very true! try to be considerate of others. at CSR we had a room right next to the quiet pool.. a group of people checking in very late. were swimming at midnight. not a problem.. I could hear them, but, oh well, then they started screaming and screeching as they jumped into the pool... ok, I understand you just got here and are excited, but. people are trying to sleep. I finally went out and aske the adults if they could keep thekids' noise down.... they did!

I am so jealous. When I am at POR, they close at dusk. That place at night is so beautiful, there would not be anything better than a glass of wine that late, listening to the water taxi come into the marina.

now, once at all star sports, in July, we had a room next to the home run pool.. along with a gazillion soccer players from a country in south america.....

at 1 am the soccer ball was banging against our window. I know pool view rooms tend to be noisier, but, sheesh. yelling , screaming banging balls around?
after calls to the front desk, we ended up having a CM shut the pool down. they just would NOT keep it down.

see,now my understanding was that the pools are open and the slides are not. and there are no life guards.

that's how is was at the quiet pools at POR when we were there. we had a great time one night with some folks from canada and others from New york. like 1 am.. we were all quiet, just enjoying the water, quiet conversation. etc.

Last time we stayed at POFQ. I was out around 1 am and there was a guy and his 2 kids in the pool. It's the "main pool" and the only pool at POFQ. There was a security guy there at the pool perimeter with his golf cart, and I asked him if it was OK for the people to be in the pool so late. He told me that, as long as the people were quiet, they could stay in the pool all night. This echoes what another poster said earlier.

Yes,that is absolutely correct.:)

People get confused and think the feature Pools close when the Lifeguards leave, but, although the slides do close when the Lifeguarded Hours end,the feature pools, just like the Quiet Pools, remain open 24/7 AS LONG AS GUESTS REMAIN QUIET.:)

That is so cool. On my solo trips, I love going out to the pool and putting my feet in the water. On two trips, I booked waterview and requested pool view at Oak Manor and got it.
I have to laugh, because at home I would not dream of walking out of the house in boxer shorts and a raggedy tee shirt. But I never thought twice sneaking out at 3 am to sit by the pool.. I would close my eyes and pretend it was actually my home......a girl has got to dream.

Back in October, the Main Pool and hot tubs at CBR were open 24 hours and it was posted. We took full advantage of the hot tub after a 2AM EMH night at MK! :thumbsup2

Like others have said, slides are closed when the lifeguards go off duty which at CBR was 8PM when we were there.
