Hoping to do early mornings and wondering what time the parking lots open? We are renting a car this year. Do they all have different hours depending on EMH, how about Hollywood Studios?

Thanks!

Might think this weird but we usually arrive between 6 - 6:30am we are early birds. They have signs at the parking toll booths to just to come in and continue to your destination that early in the morning. We always get our front row spots. For our DHS and EPCOT days we park at DHS and then walk over to the boardwalk bakery and enjoy a leasurely breakfast. We then walk to the park entrance about an hour before opening to wait in line. You can even do a table service breakfast at one of the resorts there before park opening. Table service breakfast usually starts at 7:30am so plenty of time to enjoy a meal then walk back to the park.

For our magic kingdom day we arrive at the 6 - 6:30am time frame. We park at the TTC and then walk over to the Poly for breakfast. After breakfast we take the Monorail over to the Magic Kingdom.

The only park we haven't done early is AK since there isn't really much to do around there that early in the morning.

Not sure of the exact time but we were off site last summer, we were early for RD every day (one at each park) and the lots were all open when we arrived. I think we were in the front row of each (we only trammed once because my children felt they needed to experience it). One morning we were there super early because it was the 4th of July and I was afraid of crowds/traffic. It was the first day of our vacation and I would much prefer to hang outside a park than in traffic in the car. We definitely beat most everyone there and much to our surprise the direct monorail to MK was already running (we had anticipated having to take the resort one which we had read began earlier in the morning).

The only parking lot that really ever closes is the one at AK. Sometimes it doesn't open until 1 hour before the park opens.

If you're going to MK, the parking lot will be open, but you won't be able to take the monorail over until about 7:00.

I don't know when they open, but it is much earlier than park opening. They should all well be open before you need to be there.

One recommendation is that you not drive to MK as the bus will drop you at the park side, not the TTC where you will have to park. Even if the TTC parking lot is open you may have to wait until the ferry or monorail start operating, lessening your jump on Rope Drop crowds.

Thanks! Nope, don't think you're weird at all, I'm an early bird too and now that my kids are getting older they want to get there early and ride some rides as soon as they open! I've always been one to wake up early on trips, no alarm necessary! Want to get up and explore ;)

How cool the monorail was running early! I would much rather wait outside the park than be stuck in traffic!

Okay sounds good! We have breakfast at Animal Kingdom at 8:30 so not expecting to do much before then anyway.

Okay good call on not driving to MK early! Thanks!
