What time do FPs run out during busy season?

This is not how Fastpass works. Firstly I believe RSR Fastpass is disconnected meaning you MAY be able to get one right away for another attraction. If this is not the case , typically you can get another FastPass for another ride approximately 2 hours later. If you look at the bottom of the Fastpass it clearly states when another Fastpass will be available.

Just because the return time is late does not mean you are locked out of Fastpasses until then. It is simply your return time in which that particular one will be valid. You can get other Fastpasses but keep in mind that you can only get one once every 2 hours or so.

Perfectly explained. :thumbsup2

I just visited DLR after a 11 year hiatus and I live by the fast pass. RSR fast passes are out normally by 10:30 to 11:00 so if you want a night time ride check out the return times around 9:30 to be safe...every other ride the FP's were abundant (i.e. Splash mountain picked up at 12 and return between 2:30 to 3:30), you just need to plan accordingly to maximize your experience. Matterhorn, Indiana jones and big thunder mountain all broke down while we were here this week...only one we did out of the three was indy)

Awesome, thanks! When I went in 2001 and fast passes were very new, I think I remember that you could only hold one at a time. But my memory could be wrong. From my trips in 2005 and 2008 I don't remember much of anything about fast pass for whatever reason.

Does anyone know about BTMR? I know two years ago we got some around 7 pm and my ridemax plans have me getting one around 8 pm. Thoughts?
Not sure what you want to know about BTMRR. FPs generally are not in high demand for BTMRR and last all day. Without more specifics about what you want to know and what day you will plan to be there it is hard to answer anything more specifically.

So it sounds like for a solo traveler it's better to just go single rider line and not worry about the mad dash for a FP in the morning?
It depends. The SR line can still be long. I have waited 30-40 minutes. And if the ride breaks down while you are in line you have the same issue as the standby line where you may lose your place.

The FP essentially guarantees you a ride on RSR even if it breaks down. Plus the FP queue often moves faster than the SR queue.

If I were solo I would get an RSR FP 30 minutes after the park opens and there is no "mad dash" at the point in time. In fact this is usually what I do - namely 30-60 minutes after park opening. Since RSR FP is disconnected there is no penalty for doing this.

How's the standby queue - well themed? Always hate missing the queues but don't really like standing in line for 90 or more minutes.
Yes, well themed.

FWIW, saying when FPs ran out for RSR without saying what time the park opened does not help very much.

Usually RSR FPs last at least one hour after park opening, often until 90 minutes after park opening, and occasionally until 2 hours after park opening.

RSR is in fact disconnected and thus you can immediately get another FP for any other ride.

Hi. OP here. Does anyone have any info about what time FP typically run out for rides OTHER than RSR? I think that FP situation is pretty well documented but what an out the rest?

As I said earlier, everything else typically lasts until 1PM. After that it depends heavily on how busy it is that day. There is no "typical". That is like asking how long the for Space Mtn is typically. It depends on the day and time of day.

In general, at DL...

Order of when FPs run out:

Space Mtn
Star Tours
Indy
Splash (depends heavily on how hot it is that day)
Autopia
BTMRR
RR

At DCA

RSR
Soarin
GRR (depends heavily on how hot it is that day)
ToT
GSS
CS
