what time are YOU working New Years Day?

Im working 8am-230pm - so no ball drop for me tonight. Need to be up by 6am the latest so will be heading to sleep by 10pm tonight. Yes I was given NYE off but not really.

my DD (19) is working 7 a.m to 3 p.m. on New Year's Day. Her plan for tonight is to watch the ball drop and then go right to bed! At least she will get paid time and a half for working on New Year's Day. I'm glad they didn't schedule her to work today as well.

I got a call earlier today asking me to come in and work 11-6 tomorrow because the person scheduled to work "thought she might be sick".
I told them no,so luckily I am not working tomorrow!

Oh the life of a nurse!

The good thing is, since I am working 4 days this week, tomorrow, I will get overtime PLUS holiday pay. I am going to BANK!
