What time ADR CG for Wishes on Dec. 15?

We have several options, and I need to choose soon. I think Wishes would be around 8:00, and our ADR options are 7:00 and 7:30. Which would give us a better chance of being able to take the kids to the lookout to watch Wishes?

Wishes is at 8 PM on 12/15. Are you trying to be done with dinner by the fireworks time, or just get up and leave your table, or what? Neither a 7 PM or a 7:30 is going to allow you to finish in time to watch the fireworks from the CR viewing area, but you could see them from the restaurant.

Oh, well, we're not expecting to finish our meal before Wishes, but if the baby gets antsy, or if we get a window table, we'd love to have the fireworks as a distraction for the kids.

If you are not finished eating you can get up from the table and go to the outdoor viewing area. You can even ask your server to hold a course until you get back. Should mention that if you have really small children, you will probably have to hold them up if you go outside, the walls are a bit high. Did you mean that you want to watch them from the California Grill observation area, or that you mean to go somewhere else at CR to watch?

I'm not good at this kind of estimation but I usually say people should book from an hour to an hour and a half prior to the fireworks time if they are going to the restaurant because they want to see the fireworks. Then they likely have a better chance of getting seated before the show. When the show gets too close, sometimes the persons at the tables don't give them up because they want to see the show, so those waiting for their ADRs get backed up. So I'd say 7 if the show is at 8.

The schedule may have changed since my TA gave it to me over a month ago. But at that time she said on Dec. 15 Spectromagic was at 8 pm and Wishes at 9 pm.

I'm so glad that I read the Disboards. I just double checked your theme park hours section and have made corrections to my spreadsheet. Yes, Spectromagic at 7 pm and Wishes at 8 pm on Dec. 15. Also some of the extra magic hours were different from what I had.
