What tickets should we buy?

Hi all!

My husband and I will be staying at the VGC from August 25th to Sept 1st and at the Fairfield Inn from Sept 1st to the 3rd. And we are now in the “What tickets should we get” phase of planning. I want to spend as much time as possible in the parks, but it seems DLR has tickets up to 5 days. As you’ll see below, we have 7 full park days and a few more partial days. So what should we do? Should we get day passes? Annual passes? Premier passes so that I can talk my husband into taking me to Disney World more often?

Sat Aug 25 - fly in from Florida, at VCG by noon - is it worth it to spend a "ticket day" on a half day?
Sun - EMH@DL park day
Mon - EMH@DCA park day
Tues - Lights Camera Magic ABD - no passes need that day
Wed - EMH@DCA park day
Thurs - EMH@DL park day
Fri - seeing John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl that night - again, is it worth it to spend a "ticket day" on a half day?
Sat - park day
Sun - park day
Mon - park day - fly back, flight at 10 PM

Any insight would be much appreciated! :goodvibes

Well you might be able to upgrade your 5 day hopper for $5.00 per day. But I am not sure exactly how many days you can upgrade yourself to or past. I know that when i was buying the 8 day hoppers I was paying $234 but the basic annual pass I just found is $264. The blackout days on that annual pass are no longer in effect on I think Aug 23rd. You may wanna check on this but it is around that day. With an annual pass then you would also be able to do half days without much worry. But I would see if you can upgrade a 5 day or what it would cost for an annual pass. I know next year on my next Disneyland vacation I am getting an annual pass. It will be way more worth it in the long run. Plus if you have plans on going back to the DLR within that year then you have your ticket.

where did you find this price...OP is from FL...the cheapest pass in the price range you gave is $269 and thats for so cal select pass that they cant get unless they live in CA...i would stick with the getting $5 PH pass and then add the extra days for $5

So I can buy the 5 day tix and then add days for $5? Thats great!

So my cost would be:
5-Day Park Hopper Ticket with Magic Morning =$290.00 + tax
+5
+5
+5
+5
=310 +tax

Thanks guys!:wave2:
