A couple of weeks ago I posted a thread on the budget board about the financial difficulties my best friend was going through, looking for some feedback on advice I should give her. Pretty quickly my thread got moved to the community board. This disappointed me because, although I don't post often, I've drawn a lot of good info from the people who post here, and I respect their opinions. I don't really go to the community board because 1)it scared me off a few years ago when there were tons of political threads that got nasty, and 2)there are so many threads that whatever you post gets buried pretty fast.
So, anyway I'm wondering why my thread got punted when I've seen other posts discussing people's financial problems that get to stay? (To be honest, I felt like the unpopular kid at the party)

Just more proof in my mind to stay in my own neighborhood - but ultimately it seems to be up to the powers that be. I see a LOT of things on here that are not even remotely budget related yet they remain and other things which are budget related get moved. One thread that immediately comes to mind that has been here a while is the "ignore this thread" (which by the way has been around long enough to become 46 pages long!)- now how in the world can that be construed as budget related? I believe that they do need to establish some very concise and clear guidelines and then stick to those guidelines without fail - picking and choosing just seems to cause issues. Anyway, before I upset any of those powers I think I better get off my box. Just wanted to say that I am with you and understand completely!
