Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I like chocolate
Don't act surprised when I give you a nasty look for calling me "Hun, sweetie, hunny, doll, darling...." unless you are much older than me and preferably not male.
Just because I have a daughter doesn't mean I call her Princess. I actually despise that term.
I am a young single mom. No, I don't get assistance. No, my parents aren't parenting my child. And please don't pity me because my daughters father isn't around. I'm the one who makes the rules and I am the one who gets to experience EVERY milestone and celebrate with her and I don't have to share that with anybody or have power struggles.
Please don't offer me cake, donuts, frosting, pies, whipped cream or any other pastry things. I haven't liked those things since I was 5 and I'm not about to start 23 years later.
Please don't put me down for my choice not to swear or drink. It's not my thing.
I'll pass on the shopping trip especially if it has to do with trying on clothes or looking at purses.
And finally, I dislike chick flicks and romance novels and most girly things. My friend had a trashy romance novel and I told her that I couldn't read that smut because it was so fake. She said "This isn't a book of fiction". I read the back of the book (the front had a glistening Fabio with flowing hair on the front, rippled abs with the shirt blowing in the breeze) and the plot was the same. My friend said "It's not trashy, it's based on a true story", I asked what that story was and she said "There used to be Indians around many years ago and this story came from them"......Must be nice to live in an imaginary land.
