What things are original to Canada?

Both times I have visited my DB and DSIL in Tennessee I have brought down Ketchup chips 'cause they don't have 'em. The dill pickle flavours we have seem better too so we bring some of those with us.

Also Shreddies and Static Guard spray of all things.

I used to bring them tins of Timmy's coffee, but I can now buy that for them on the way, on I-75 as far south as Dayton/Sharonville OH.

For something non-food, how about something small from Roots...like a leather key chain with the Roots logo. (They do have 3 or 4 Roots stores in the U.S. but its mainly in Canada)

Yep, good ol' butter tarts. We always take a few dozen stateside to our relatives for family reunions.

Hee, hee, my parents are from Erin Ontario, and they return to Canada for the summer. The first thing my mother does is buy butter tarts!! We used to go to visit my grandparents every summer, and we'd always buy maple sugar candy, and either Nielsen or Aero candy bars!! My sister, the chip lover swore Canada had more flavors of potato chips than any other country. One other memory was dad taking us to "Albert's Rolling Lunch" in Sarnia, where my other grandparents lived. You guys just transported me back to many happy childhood memories, thanks!!
