What "the World" needs now is....(add your opinion here)

Update to future word at Epcot. It's really showing it's age.
A trip to 'Best Buy' is better than Innoventions these days. I really thought the tile work and general up keep of the Innoventions Plaza area was poor. I guess seeing the empty restaurant doesn't help the image either. Oh...and what's up with those "headstones" in front of Spaceship Earth with the pictures? Yuck.

i think they should add an indiana jones ride to the studios and maybe even a narnia ride...
also i think they should add greece to epcot i just think it would be cool...

I agree with the Indy ride. The one they have at DL is awesome! I was very dissapointed the first time that we went to WDW that they didn't have it, even though I love the show.

It would be really neat if they had a ride in every Epcot country...........they wouldn't have to be super elaborate or anything, just an actual attraction at each country. Obviously, I'm kind of tired of those circle-vision 360 movies that you have to stand up in.

:ita

Too many countries are really just shopping areas. I'd love a Russian Pavillion.

I'd also like WDW to stop adverstising so people (other than us) stop coming. That would be just enough polite, non-line cutting, non-heely wearing, good stroller drivers to make it fun. :lmao:

funny you say that, i saw a disney commercial about 15 minutes ago and said the same thing.

More table service resturants at AK. We're doing DDP and boy are the pickings thin if you want to do dinner there.

I'd love to see more countries in Epcot. Wouldn't Australia be fun? And...I agree about having a ride or something in each country. Not really loving those films, especially with my really active kids.

I'd love to see a Toy Story character meal or maybe a Peter Pan and the lost boys meal (oh wait...I'm invisioning that food fight sceen from Hook...maybe not). My boys loved the Pooh breakfast but have outgrown Pooh (sob!). We'd be up for a Villians event! My boys just think the Princess thing is a bit too girly for them now (sob again!)

I'd also like them to think about some more less expensive options for families with 5. We're pretty much stuck at POR because they have trundle beds. I'm not complaining....I'm looking forward to giving POR a try....but what about next time? We'd like to do a different resort each time. Couldn't they fix up more Mod and Value resorts with trundle beds? If we have to wait until we can save up for AKL or a suite somewhere it's going to be a long time until our next trip.

We're also dealing with the 2 year old nap issue. I have no idea what they could do to help me out but I would love it if they had a little "stop and snooze" place in the park that I could take my baby to catch a nap while dh and the big boys played. By the time we drive back to the hotel ds will fall asleep in the car or bus and naptime will be blown. Ds has gotten too big to snooze in a stroller but REALLY needs that afternoon nap. I know they have baby stations at each park where you can nurse and change diapers but we need a nap area. Probably doesn't effect a huge segment of their demographics but maybe......!

Rebuild Horizons!!

And Egypt in the WS would be nice .. tons of theming potential!!

Didn't the dinner at 1900 Park Faire USED to be a Villain-y affair? I seem to remember hearing about Captain Hook and others of his nefarious ilk at that character meal in the past...?:confused3

Y'all have some good ideas!:thumbsup2

Yes, you're correct. Unless we can travel backwards through time, let's
say the year 2000...no villains character meals for us. :(

Captain Hook and Prince John came to the tables, but I can't remember who
else was working the room. I do remember the Queen of Hearts was the
character in the "greeter" spot outside the restaurant, though.

I am going to say....

love sweet love

since that song is all I think about when I see the title to this post.:rotfl:

Maybe it needs places out front of each park and resort that people have to walk through that will make them all happy! After all, it is suppose to be the Happiest Place On Earth.

... the return of the Main St. Marching Band!!!
Those guys PLAYED! Disney has always invested in live music ... I would love to see this band return.

Here they are this past Oct. But, yes, bring back more of the live music (Future Corps, etc.).

And while on the subject, stop the continual cutbacks on little things, and the skimping on maintenance. Every time we go back, there's some little nicety that is either no longer offered or there's a cheaper version of. Times are good at Disney these days. Surley they would be 'able' to keep the tiger shrimp at Ohana, or keep the big "fans" in the POR lobby running.

I know it's a similar story with any publicly-traded company these days, but you can bet the big guys (and gals) up at corporate aren't sacrificing much to help costs. Ok, rant's over.

A thorough fire in Stitch's "Great, I Can't Escape" :rotfl:

That's exactly what I was thinking!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!!! Foul horrible thing to spring on unsuspecting lovers of Stitch! YUCK!!

Ummm...I would love to see Disney filled with people who realize that THEIR kids aren't the only kids that want to see things, or be in front for the parade or get the Dumbo with the green hat...(I was shocked at how many parents I saw being SO agressive and rude in the name if THEIR KIDS getting what they wanted...helloooo...can't we all just get along and have some dang manners?!)princess:

1) Update some of the older rides. (Star Tours, Space Mountain, etc.)
2) Add Australia to the World Showcase. (Probably the only I would ever be able to go.)
3) Change the Indiana Jones Stunt Show to the Indiana Jones ride at DL.
4) Bring back some of the old favorites from yesteryear and make a 5th park out of those attractions.
5) Have a frequent visitor program where you can get "freebies" for so many visits. (I like this one!)

I wish the Luau would offer some steak sauce like A-1 as an option.

I wish the Boardwalk would offer childcare so I could stop in a bar with DH just once before my kids grow up.

I wish The Wilderness Lodge would add a bus to the MK.

I wish WDW would add some more sit down dinner show options. I love the Hoop De Do but can't do it every time. The Luau is nice too but there should be more options for us lifers.

I agree a Villan meal would be great.

The world needs 1. two or three more attractions in MGM, perhaps a Harry Potter haunted house and an Incredibles dark ride.

2. new lands in DAK. I would go with "America" with a grizzly bear mountain walk-thru and an Amazon river cruise. Plus, a new land titled "Narnia" whith could incorporate some old Beastly Kingdomme ideas along with a Escape from the White Witch flume ride.

3. Completely redo Jungle Cruise and covert the race track into a Cars theme ride.

4. Replace Wonder of Life with maybe Stormrider from Tokyo DisneySea and add at least 2 new WS countries, my choices would be India and Brazil

5. Put a ferris wheel on the Boardwalk
