What the heck is up with Figment?

Journey Into the Imagination was packed today, even though most other lower-tier rides at Epcot were a walk-on. At one point, Soarin' was 20 minutes, LwtL was 10, Seas was a walk on, and Figment was 30. Half an hour?! Seriously? Do people know something I don't? Every time we walked by today, there was a line out the door. I realize GotG was down all day, TT is closed for refurb, and Frozen and Rat were both down periodically, but I wouldn't have pegged Figment as the popular backup. So weird. Anyone want to throw a theory my way?
