What the heck is going on weekend of 5/6?

I've been on the waitlist for awhile with no luck! We leave Sun 4/30 and needed the extra night, Sun the 7th. Everything is booked! Anyone know what is going on that all DVC resorts studios and 1 bedrooms are booked even cash ressies are booked??!!!
I'm going to be stranded at WDW!!

We originally booked a 1 br. BWV for 1 week at the end of feb. for 5/5-5/11. We are only using 2 nites then moving to the POLY for LVC. We recently bought in and are using the points from last year for the 5 nites@ the POLY.

Big graduation shin-digs for the Florida kids. They are going to be having special events on May 5 and 6 in MK. Got the news in my "Enjoy Your Visit Home" letter yesterday.

Grad Nights? Not a big deal, as long as stay very, very far from the MK (and roads near the MK) those nights. Were were there last year (May 2 is our anniversary) and it wasn't a big deal because we knew in advance and planned accordingly.
