Have you heard of Dole the pineapple company? Well they have a stand in WDW as well as DL in the adventureland area. Dole whip is this amazing soft serve pineapple ice cream. They have a float drink or a twist with vanilla and dole whip mixed. I always get it when in WDW!

It is a soft serve ice cream treat from Aloha Isle in MK in Adventurland, you can choose 3 different flavs. van, choc, pineapple, or a swirl. It's yummy, I actually like the pineapple float which is the pineapple dole whip and pineapple juice, yumo!

I've had Dole Whips before, not at WDW but at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. Personally, I love them. They're kind of like a lighter, whipped (as the name suggests ) version of soft serve ice cream. If I remember correctly, they're actually fairly healthy. I would give one a try for sure!!

I am pretty sure they are non-dairy, and healthier than regular ice cream. The pineapple ice cream over pineapple juice is just heavenly. You can also get them at the Dole Plantation in Oahu, Hawaii - I had never known of another place besides there and Adventureland. I know it's soft serve, but if I could get that stuff at a grocery store I would eat nothing else ever again.

Here are the ingredients for the Dole Pineapple Soft Serve Dry Mix.

Health food it is not.
Better for you than ice cream it is not, unless you're only talking calories.
Dairy-free it is not, due to Sodium Caseinate (but that sort of thing only really matters to vegans, since I don't think lactose is in that dairy byproduct).
Real food it is not!

And to me, *good* it is not.

Hubby and DS liked it, but since it has corn syrup solids in it, they can't have it (corn products send DS into a rage, and corn syrup products cause DS to pass out in a very weird way). Poor guys, they did like it!

Pineapple dole whips are the BEST! I had one this weekend. No sense getting any other flavor or you might as well get ice cream. There are also Dole whip floats which are yummy too. Just depends on how much you can eat. I can't even finish a regular size Dole whip.

Do they have one with pineapple and vanilla twist? I like pineapple but am not a fan of tart things so I think the vanilla would really cut it nicely.

That is how my DH likes it! I personally love just the pineapple whip! Just had one 2 days ago

They have the vanilla and pineapple twist at Captain Cooks. That's the way I prefer it. DH likes only the pineapple. So we compromised.
