Uh Hum, new kid here... What is an AP code???

Annual Passholder code.....Disney releases codes that when used with Disney reservations, afford you a discount on rooms. Codes are issued in different categories, for instance passholders, residents of a certain state, or those available to anyone. The discounts can be substantial. Currently, the AP discount code would get you into an All Star resort for $59, $74 at a moderate, $124 at the Wilderness Lodge, $149 at the Contemporary, and $199 at the Polynesian. An AP code is the discount available to Annual Passholders for a specified period of time. These discounts are not automatic -- ex. - you don't automatically get xx% discount for being an annual passholder. You have to wait until these discounts are announced for a specified period of time to have them applied to your reservation. The percentage varies. Sometimes they are quite good. Last week I was able to use the AP discount to get a room at Coronado Springs for the second week of June for $74.00 per night (rack rate is $144).

Thank you! I used a general code from mousesavers.com to get the $94.00 rate for our visit to CBR. I'm still tring to figure out all of this lingo. It's almost as fun as planning our trip. (almost)!!
