What the crowd like from dinner time till closing?

Ah...good to see a few other folks affirming the positives of the parks after dark!

I sometimes get the impression many DISers are early risers.

OP, you may find that it pays to beat the heat in the summer on both ends. We prioritize the PM hours, but actually attempt to attend both the AM EMH PM EMH's as much as possible. We rarely nap when we go to WDW in the 3 other seasons, but make a few exceptions in the summer months.


Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be a... happy snowman!

I'm a rope drop to close kind of person, but have been known to take a break mid day.

There's nothing better then going on the MK rides at night. Splash, BTMRR, 7DMT are all wonderful late at night. Riding the carrousel, Astro Orbitors, or Dumbo is another favourite when the parks are about to close. There's no better way to get a sense of the magic of MK.
