My understanding is that they still have all sweeteners, but they have generic packaging. They'll just be "pink", "blue", "yellow" and of course "white" packets, but the yellow is still sucralose, even if it's not the Splenda brand.
I agree - blue and yellow were everywhere. Since I can't live without pink for my ice tea, I brought about 20 packets of the pink and just carried them a few at a time in my fanny pack. Definitely saved the day!
Can anyone confirm that the packets are the correct color for the correct sugar? I'm diabetic and if they stopped carrying Splenda or changed their colors or whatever, i'll need to know this. Thanks!
It's a total crap shoot, or a box of chocolates...you never know what you'll get. My wife only likes the yellow, I prefer the pink...she was more often happier than I was.
For the past 5 or 6 years I had to carry my own pinks. My family would laugh at me - but I definately need pink for iced tea. This past August we were at Disney for 12 days and I didn't need to use my own pinks once. There were readily available every place we ate (whether TS or CS). So we are going again in 4 weeks, I plan on totally leaving my pinks at home
For those of you who like brand name Splenda, the coffee stands at Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and DHS still have the real thing. I don't like the generic "yellow" that has replaced it at all the counter service food locations. It seems to have a weird aftertaste to me. I'm not sure if the coffee stands will eventually switch over to generic, or if Disney recognizes that people want the real thing with their $5 lattes.

We were at the World last week and I found myself noticing the sugar packets and thinking of this thread throughout the trip, even though I don't drink coffee or use any kind of sweeteners myself. I did notice that the Boardwalk Bakery had tons of yellow, blue and white but no pink. However, Kouzzina next door had all four on the table with breakfast. The Grand Floridian Café also had all four, plus brown packets of raw sugar.
Thanks fr posting...I never thought about it and I only like Splenda...my mom always carries it and I used to laugh and now that I use it maybe I should put some in my pocketbook.
