I am looking for a high SPF, broad spectrum spray-on that's not sticky. Any recommendations?

:thanks:

I bought Coppertone SPF 50 spray. Never used it before, but I've heard the spray is better than what you rub on. :confused3 I'll find out next week if it does :goodvibes

ETA: Not sure if it's sticky or not. Sorry -- just re-read your post.

neutrogena spray on. It's great, sometimes I get 55, sometimes 70 and sometimes 90. I haven't found it to be greasy at all. I had melanoma 10 years ago and my dermatologist recommended it.

I'll put in another vote for neutrogena. Love the stuff. I have very sensitive skin and I burn easily. Neutrogena works great and is not greasy at all. I use the SPF 100.

Same here. I'm a fair skinned redhead and I burn in minutes. I use Neutrogena 100 spray - put in on once in the morning and I'm good all day!
I do use SPF 85 (also Neutrogena) in a dry cream for my face...

Get in the boat the banana boat! I use the banana boat kids spray SPF 50 or higher. Love it and it has a tear free version which is great for our little ones!!

Target-brand (Up and Up) SPF 15 spray-on. Was rated highest by Consumer Reports a year or so ago. Price is right, especially in the 2-pack of the bigger cans.

Pretty sure they also make an 8, 30, and 50.

We loved Blue Lizard - worked wonders for us in the FL summer sun.:cool2: The only downside is that it is a cream and takes a while to apply and work it in..which is a bit of a pain in the tail...so we tried the Target brand Up & Up spray last May and it worked great. The only downside is that it seems to run out quickly..I packed 2 HUGE spray bottles and found myself spending a painful amount in the gift shop near the end of our week for another can.

This trip I am still going with the UP & UP..but will pack 3 huge cans.

Thanks everyone for the info. I'm pretty fair-skinned and I did burn last year in the parks even with the sunscreen I was using (Wal-Mart's version of Coppertone Sport SPF 50). I figure this year, better sunscreen and no more tank tops for me. :headache:

Another for Neutorgena. They even have special formulas for fair faces and necks.

Bull Frog sunscreen was recommended by my Dermatologist. I use the spray version and rub the oil into the skin. I use Aveeno Perfectly Ageless sunblock for my face. Both products work well for me. For Disney, I will have a sunhat and loose fitting, cotton shirts. We wear super thin shirts here.

Be sure to apply extra sunscreen to bottom of your neck/top of your chest. This area gets fried easily. Ditto for the tops of your feet if wearing sandals.

Another Neutrogena user here (we don't usually buy the spray though) Our dermatologist said to use the Neutrogena with Helioplex.

Another big thumbs-up for Neutrogena spray. You can get it at Costco at a good price. It goes on really lightly (not sticky) but works really well.

I tried the Coppertone Sport spray (blue bottle) and wasn't thrilled. That stuff went on like cement, and I hated the texture. I had to scrub it off with a really soapy washcloth for several minutes to feel like I got rid of it. Yuck! The only time I ever use it is when I go to one of the water parks. It's truly waterproof and great for pool time -- but for everyday use, I don't like Coppertone at all!

Another vote for Bull Frog if you're looking to block the sun. A friend of mine had it when we were in Miami in July. It was only SPF 30 and it blocked all the rays. Not even a change in color and we were at an outdoor sporting event. She turns into a lobster with her fair skin and swears by it. I like it now as well!

We use No-Ad SPF 70. If you have never used the spray before, you may want to try it at home first. My son and I both have wicked reactions to the propellant in the aerosol sprays. The reaction is bad enough that last time we were at WDW, someone sprayed it NEAR my son, and I had to break out the Benadryl. :scared1:
Oh, and if you have Kroger where you live, its sunscreen is made by No-Ad as well.

We use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist. It's a broad spectrum sunscreen. It's a spray but it's not greasy and has a pleasant smell. Also does a good job keeping DH and I from burning.

I use Neutrogena also. They have a two pack of spray on at Costco plus $3.50 off coupon right now, I just bought 4 packs!

Whatever you choose, make sure you try it out in advance so you're not surprised by a bad reaction to it when you get to WDW. I speak from experience. The Neutrogena with Helioplex does not agree with my skin at all. What works for one person might not work for others!

Blue Lizard. Its Australian so its only listed as spf 20 (highest allowed by their laws) but works much better than anything else I've tried. It does take a couple minutes to rub it in because it has a higher amt of zinc oxide than normal but its a physical as well as chemical block for the sun.
