What summer movie is the best

Between dh being laid off til spring, then being hospitalized, then two kids getting sick, I've seen no summer movies at all. I can't even think of the ones I want to see except Harry Potter. What should I go see first?

We've seen Shrek 2, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Spiderman 2.

We thought Spiderman was the best of the three, but all of them are great summer movies.

Shrek2 and F911 were great also! Good summer for movies!

Spidey and HP POA receive high marks here. DD1 (5 1/2) a;sp recommends Shrek 2, but I have not seen that one yet (she went with friends). Smae DD will aso want to see Cinderella Story since she is a big "Lizzie MacGuire" fan.

I just got done watching King Arthur tonight and I just have to say I have a new hunk fav! That Clive Owen is just to die for!!!!

As far as the movie goes, if you like Braveheart, you'll like this one. I like the fact that it's not the romantic side of Camelot that they portray.

And for the guys... two words... Kiera Knightley!

Thumbs up to Shrek 2. Lauri and I have seen it twice so far, and she's not one to see a movie in a theatre more than once. As good as the first one.

Thumbs up to Spider-Man 2 also. It's that rare sequel that's actually better than the original. I wouldn't recommend it for really little kids, but there's nothing in it that's harsher than the first movie -- some language, no nudity, superhero fantasy type action scenes, and (believe it or not) great story and characterization for a summer action movie.

Haven't seen King Arthur yet, but I might try this weekend.

Spiderman 2, Shrek 2 and the Harry Potter movie are all good IMO. I also liked Secret Window if it's still showing anywhere. I'm looking forward to The Village.
