What stores are close to HOJO's

We will be staying at HOJO's...is there a Wal-Mart or grocery store close by? We are just going to buy some yogurt, bananas, cereal, milk so we can have a quick breakfast in the room and get to the parks asap....thanks!

If you take harbor to Katella and turn Right there is a Food Town about 3 miles up the street on the left hand side, there is a dollar store and big lots in the same center. Food Town is owned by Kroger (which is the store we have here in Texas) and they have a good selection of foods and good prices. You have to bag your own purchases though. One thing I noticed on my last trip is that they did not have the small individual cereal boxes this time, only regular size boxes and bags of cereal...otherwise they had everything else. The walmarts near Disney are not Super Walmarts so they do not have food items. There is also another grocery store called Henry's if you travel the other way on Harbor (away from Disneyland) near Fullerton but its farther than the Food Town store. However, Henrys is very near the Character Outlet Warehouse so if you plan to go there you could pop into Henry's too.

I love eating bfast out but when it comes to Disney I'd rather not waste morning park time eating. We like to eat at our room then grab an early lunch.

Do you think this planning works for DL not just WDW?

Is there a bus that goes to FT or would a taxi be a good idea?

There's a Target just down Harbor, it has food as well. Just down Harbor, past Katella tho so the grocery store might be closer.

I'd probably go with a taxi, you probably don't want to bring food back in the bus, it may be a pita.
