What "special" things did/will you do on your honeymoon?

We are looking for some special things to do on our Disney honeymoon. Since we've been there so much, we definately want to try things we haven't before. So I wanted to see what you did/will do that's different on your honeymoon, that made/will make it extra "special?" (Of course it will be special on its own, it's Disney after all)

These are the things that we are considering:
Dining with an imagineer at brown derby
epcot food and wine festival
Sweetheart dinner for two at artists point
pick a pearl (so I can have something special to wear from our wedding trip)
And we may do MNSSHP

Thanks!!!

We went to Discovery Cove and swam with the dolphins.

Love all the ideas you suggested. We would have loved to do supper at Victoria and Albert's at the GF. All the Disney tours are fun to do also. We have done 5 so far.

I know a lot of people will think it is silly to go all the way to Disney and go to the movies. We love movies and went twice during our honeymoon. Loved seeing Toy Story 3 at Disney. Because of the free passes for a year we didn't feel pressure to get to the parks every minute of our trip.

We had a caricature artist at our wedding. If you are not maybe have one done in one of the parks. They did ours with a bridal theme and I am sure they could do the same for you.

I like Carrie's suggestions. A resort photo session would be a nice keepsake for a reasonable price, Carriage rides are fun as are the boat rides. The MK dessert party has a great view of the castle.

We did Dining with an Imagineer on our honeymoon - here's our report.

Food & Wine and MNSSHP would be fun too. I'm not a fan of Disney's Sweetheart Dinners because you can get everything in the package for less by just doing it yourself. I guarantee if you put "honeymoon" on your reservation at Artist Point you will get great service, personalized menus and a free dessert without paying for that package. And the flutes in the package can be had at Arribas Bros. in Downtown Disney for less.

Other things we've tried and loved on our trips:

Parasailing at the Contemporary
Behind the Seeds Tour at Epcot
Segway Tour of Epcot
Backstage Safari
Spending the day after the wedding entirely at the hotel pool (Stormalong Bay)
Taking a day to tour all the different resorts
Room-service breakfast
Miniature golf

And some more ideas...
Carriage ride
Boat rental
Fireworks cruise
Resort photo session
Magic Kingdom dessert party (public)

Oh, and our anniversary souvenir has become those Animales Fantasticos in Mexico. We buy them while the artist is still painting them and have them delivered to the resort. Then when we open them at home, it's a big surprise what they look like! :goodvibes

The only thing we have planned right now is a dinner at Narcoosee's, which I know isn't *that* special but it's still signature dining, right? And DF has been to WDW twice, but he's never even eaten at any of the sit-down restaurants, they always did quick service, so just going to some of the restaurants in the world showcase and whatnot will be exciting for him.

One thing I've been thinking of... DF normally lets me decide everything and doesn't often have suggestions. The other night he said something about being interested in Circe du Soleil. We looked into it and found that the tickets are rather expensive (we are on a budget, and as of right now I personally am paying for all of the honeymoon because DF is still in school), so he just said, "okay, never mind." But I've been thinking about it and I think that maybe I will get tickets for us as my wedding gift to him. I know he'd really like that and hopefully it will be a pretty good surprise.

We are staying in a honeymoon suite at a deluxe resort!!!!:cool1: That is probably the most special part of our honeymoon :goodvibes

We also plan to do a few dinner shows: HDDR and the Luau.

Special things for us will (hopefully) be:
Staying in a concierge level room at the Polynesian for part of the trip
Dining with an Imagineer
A tour - I'm thinking Keys to the Kingdom
Having dinner at Victoria and Alberts
Dining at other Signature restaurants around the World (Narcoossees, Yachstman Steakhouse, Bistro de Paris)

sounds like you have some great special experiences already!

If you can, I'd do dinner at V&A's. It's just an amazing experience and the food is out of this world. We also did an Illuminations Cruise which was great.

I think I am most looking forward to the MK shoot for our honeymoon, the memories alone from the pics will be great!

I think we will have several nice dinners lined up and just enjoy the trip as it flows! I don't want to pencil too much in as I want to be able to live in the moment but we will definitely be going to the food and wine festival as well! :lovestruc

If you can swing it, definitely go see Cirque Du Soleil, it is so worth the money.

We went for dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table and my DH ordered me the slipper dessert - we loved it and got lots of special attention.

Per lurkyloo's suggestion, we are forgoing a sweetheart dinner and doing our own dinner at Jiko. We mentioned our honeymoon in the reservation, so hopefully we get some pixie dust thrown our way.

We also plan on doing a carriage ride at POR, which is where we are staying. We are doing breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.

We are in Orlando for two weeks, one with our families and one without. During the family-less week, we plan on doing Universal and Islands of Adventure one day and might go see Blue Man Group (I've seen them 3 times when I lived in Boston but DF never has and is interested).

Other than that, we are just looking forward to spending time with our families and then time just the two of us our way without having to cater to anyone else's whim for a whole week!

This is what we have booked so far:
Dinner and brunch at Palo on the Dream
fireworks and pirate party the night of our wedding in my wedding dress
catamaran snorkeling in Nassau
Parasailing at Castaway Cay on our wedding day
dinner at Teppan Edo the first day of our honeymoon, it's also DFs birthday
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom photo sessions
lunch at Le Cellier, where we celebrated the day after he proposed (and
where he originally planned on proposing until he got caught up in the magic
on Main Street)
dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table
California Grill Wishes dinner
Magic Kingdom dessert party (public) our final night in WDW

Our honeymoon is in September...

we are going to Discovery Cove
staying concierge at a deluxe (never stayed deluxe before!!!)
going to watch the fireworks from the Polynesian beach (with a drink in hand of course!)

We really wanted to do Victoria and Alberts but considering how much we are spending on the wedding, I just couldn't justify it. So hopefully for our one year anniversary we can dine there!

Sounds wonderful! We wanted to do Victoria and Albert's as well, but it depends on the budget... This wedding stuff adds up pretty quickly!!

When in September are you going?

I am also honeymooning in September, though Kristi I know you will be there after me. When will you be there, KandD?
