What songs do you have on your IPod that you think nobody else has?

I also have Bruce Willis singing "Under The Boardwalk".

I loved his version of that song! Remember the song he had with his band? I think it was called "Respect Yourself." I'm going to have to go searching for that.

A couple others I really like on my Ipod that aren't to popular are
Dave Frishberg:Do you miss New York, My Attorney Bernie
Josie Cotton: Schools in, Johny are You Queer Boy and Schools In

I also have Bruce Willis singing "Under The Boardwalk".

Where did you find that? I just went to iTunes and found Respect Yourself but I couldn't find that one or the album (The Return on Bruno).

I am amazed nobody has mentioned William shatner doing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

I have that one, along with Mr. Tambourine Man

Got that one

I have Respect Yourself on my ipod and I used to have the Return of Bruno tape with Under the Boardwalk and Secret Agent Man.

no, but I am thinking about buying some John Barrowman. Any suggestions?
Same here. I heard him sing on the Doctor Who edition of The Weakest Link.... wow, if he's that good without music, I bet he's to die for when there's a track behind him.

The part that cracked me up was David Tennant in that same epsiode, but I would love to get my hands on his version of "Anything Goes" after hearing it on youtube.

Oh man, tell me about it! DT was great (love how speechless he was when Ann asked him if he meant to be sexy in the show  ). But back on the subject of JB... the part that cracks me up is the "outtakes" from that episode in which he said something that came out so completely wrong. :lmao:

I'll have to check out that track, thanks! :thumbsup2

I admit I didn't read the whole thread - did anyone else have... Paris Hilton? Do I win? ;)

Love her, BTW... :rolleyes1

Hate to disappoint you, but I've got all of those except Leningrad, including the Nightmare Soundtrack.

I'm in this same boat!

Gordon Lightfoot - Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald

Me too - and a few other Gordon Lightfoot tunes.

Rock Me Amadeus - Falco
One Night in Bangkok - Murray Head
Human Touch - Rick Springfield

We're so 80s!

Cecelia - Simon and Garfunkel
Open Arms - Journey[/B]

And Mrs. Robinson and many others by S & G and Journey as well.

I have one Michael Stanley song--He don't love you. I never heard of him until I went to BGSU and all of the Cleveland people played him all of the time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Michael Stanley. He really is only well known around these parts, but he's awesome!!! I have tons of his stuff on my iPod. Going to see him Labor Day weekend in concert! Can't wait!

Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun
Steely Dan - FM

Terry Jacks - just love this song. Steely Dan - my brothers introduced me to this music and I just like it.

Build Me Up Buttercup
Thunder Road
The Night Chicago Died
Centerfield
My Wish
Barbara Ann
Good Vibrations

I also have THE Ohio State Marching Band - OSU Fight Song; We Don't Give a **** about the Whole State of MI; Carmen Ohio; Hang On Sloopy
Patrice Rushen - Forget Me Nots
Stevie Wonder - Always
Brian Setzer Orchestra - Mack the Knife

I have bad musical taste, I always tell my husband when he rolls his eyes at my music. I don't listen to anything that's "cool".

Here are a few of my weirder ones:
2 full cds by Merrill Bainbridge (even my Australian friend used to make fun of me)
"S-E-X-X-Y" and "New York City" - TMBG
"Even a Fool Can See" - Peter Cetera (my favorite song ever - should tell you something!)
"Just Kickin' It" - Xscape
"Hero" - David Crosby & Phil Collins
"Rent" from Rent - original New York Theater Workshop version
I have 2 versions of the Annie, Chicago, Evita, Rent, Sound of Music, Grease, Sweeney Todd soundtracks - stage and movie
"A Mighty Wind" soundtrack
Scott Joplin rags
"Every Other Time" - LFO
4 Carly Simon cds (favorites My Romance and Coming Around Again)
"Push" - Sarah MacLachlan (my wedding song)
"Mambo No. 5" - Lou Bega

And one I'm sure no one else here has - The Commas (my brother's band)

This is fun!

I have the Off Kilter "Live" CD, plus the theme from "The Electric Company". I know no one else has my oldest daughter's 6th grade choir (she's going into 11th now) singing songs from "Joseph...Dreamcoat!"
Robin M.

You Never Even Called Me by My Name-- David Allan Coe

THis is the same IPod with Living After Midnigth by Judas Priest.

:rotfl: I've got that, too! And Don't Close Your Eyes, by Keith Whitley, Oh, and What I Didn't Do, by Steve Wariner (along with the Ramones, Sex Pistols, Pogues, etc).
