We are renting a car so we can stop by a local store. ITs four of us an 11year old and a 5 year old. Any suggestions I always hear of snacks in the room but what kind od suggestions. Or should I just bring a cooler is this a good idea. Help you guys have helped me out so much.:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi Juliette! I like your Care Bear in your image box!
We bought a giant Igloo cooler on wheels with us but we drove in our minivan to get to WDW. If you can bring one to have in your room, it beats renting the fridge. I just loaded it up with ice from the nearby machine on our floor. We put milk in it and my DD5's juices along with pop. We found that the resealable bags of mini donuts in both chocolate and powdered were great for breakfast. Easy resealable storage. Then we had cereal boxes and plastic spoons and bowls. Small personal sizes of snacks were great too. We made a family trip to the local food store and had a blast picking out the snacks we wanted to bring. Since you'll be shopping when you're there, maybe have a family trip to your local grocery store to pick what you will get when you're near WDW.

For some reason peanut butter crackers have always made the must take list for us. Also microwave popcorn.

That what we did in May. There are the Mickey and Pohh juice boxes and pouches. And Buzz, princess and Mickey fruit snacks, Pohh graham crackers, Buzz, Pooh and Mickey cereals.

It was great fun and we felt like we were eating the same stuff they are pushing on you in the parks but for much, much less.

Any snacks that you enjoy that won't get gooey or melt in the heat would be a good suggestion.

Raisins, nuts, dried fruit and granolas for the health conscious.

Peanutbutter crackers, Teddy Grahams, Lifesavers and Cheez-Its.

Microwave popcorn, instant oatmeal and soups.

Ragu Express and Easy Mac for a quick lunchtime meal at the resort.

Fresh fruits like apples and bananas do not need to be refrigerated.

Toaster pastries like PopTarts and Pastry Swirls can be eaten cold or you can take them to the food court to toast in the toasters.

Sweetened cereals make a great snack anytime of the day.

Just think about the things your family likes to munch on at home.

I would definitely get the cooler instead of the frig. The frig. is a little small. You've already gotten so many good snack ideas. I'll add to the list those pre-made pb and j sandwiches and fruit roll ups. And yogurt go-gurt. Good luck!

You can go to Goodings Supermarket and purchase a styrofoam cooler for about $4.00. We used one in November and it kept everything. We changed the ice every night. Certainly beat paying $10.00 a day for the fridge!
As for snacks, we purchased fruit, small bags of chips, granola bars, star bursts, raisins, fruit roll ups, peanut butter crackers, and mini muffins. Also brought some baggies from home, they came in handy to keep our passes dry on the water rides, and to store food as well.

Thank you!!! I love you guys everyone is so helpful. So I will go to the local store and have a blast getting snacks with the kids. It does work out better to take a cooler then to pay $10 a day. Also one more thing what do they have in the food court that I can use I don't remember i haven't been there since 1999. All Star Movies:rolleyes: : :p
