What "snack" in China?

OK, I am determined to eat something from every WS country on my next trip. (Not all in one day!) I unintentionally came close this year without trying, and one of the 3 countries I "missed" was China. I've never eaten anything from the China pavilion.

What's my best option for a "snack" here? Egg roll from Lotus Blossom? One of the tea slushes from Joy of Tea? China doesn't seem to get many positive comments on here for the food.

The tea slushies are one of my husbands favorite items at epcot. The egg roll is good as well. The joy of tea stand sells a couple of food items and the ones we have tried were good. If DH were gettingv one item it would be the peach tea slush.

I think you should share what you already ate! To be completely honest, I haven't eaten in many of the countries, especially snack items.

I've been to the Rose and Crown (but probably won't go again because they don't sell the potato and leek soup anymore!), Via Napoli (pizza), American Adventure (just a burger one day), France for snacks and ice cream, and I bought a pastry once in Norway. I think I need to do this sometime!

oops! I have been getting Kaki Gori's in Japan the last few trips. Love the strawberry flavor.

Peach tea slush is something I have my eye on. Thanks for the recommendation.

Here's what I had this year. I liked everything I had:
Table service:
Italy: Via Napoli (my favorite!) Quattro Formaggi Pizza, tiramisu & strawberry aqua fresca. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Mexico: La Hacienda de San Angel: Pescado a la Talla (the tilapia dish). Really enjoyed this meal, loved the black beans. Empanada de Manzana (apple turnover w/ice cream & caramel) was good, too. I'm trying San Angel Inn next time, but I would happily return to La Hacienda.

Counter service:
UK: Fish & Chips from the Yorkshire County stand - another favorite!

Morocco: Lamb Shawarma Platter from Tangierine Cafe - my newest must-do-again!

France: Ham & cheese croissant and apple turnover from Les Halles Bakery

Snacks:
Japan: Rainbow Kaki Gori from Kabuki Cafe
Norway: Sweet pretzel with almonds from Kringla Bakery
Germany: Milk chocolate covered caramel with sea salt from Karamel Kuche :cloud9:

I think that's everything.

I have an ADR for Le Cellier (first time there) for my next trip so I can check Canada off the list, and I figure I'll grab a Mickey pretzel or a funnel cake in the US at some point.

Oh I loved the strawberry aqua fresca! Next time I go back, I'm going there again.... well, if I have someone to go with. That pizza would be way too big for a solo meal for me!

I actually took some of mine back to my room, put it in the fridge, and nibbled on it cold one night. (And I don't generally eat cold pizza.)

hmmm.... might work. Food courts have microwaves too though, so I could do that. It might work, depending on when I go.... Thanks for the idea!

I really like the curry chicken pockets served at the Joy of Tea stand. They're kind of big, though, and you get two in a serving, so it's definitely one for sharing.

I love the mango green tea. It's sweet and refreshing. The slushes are good too but since they aren't a snack credit I usually opt for the mango green.

Thanks, all, for the suggestions so far. I should have mentioned up front, I'm not on a Dining Plan so not concerned about credits. I just used the term "snack" for something light, not a full meal.

We always get the strawberry tea slushies from the China cart. We've gotten the egg rolls too but didn't find them good at all.

The miso soup and edamame from the Japan cart is basic but decent.

My son's favorite is the crepe stand in France.

Everything at Tangierine Cafe is great.

Potstickers from Lotus Blossom and the Peach Snap from Joy of Tea stand - love both!!

Four of us are planning on eating our way "around the world" in February. Thanks for all these suggestions. We'll be sure to try some of them. Luckily, there are four of us to share....we'll be stuffed! :)

I try to taste as many unique things as possible that I haven't tasted on previous trips to the World! The world showcase is no exception, and I recently tried a special menu item, the "Tipsy Duck in Love - Hong Kong Style Yuan Yang Drink" from Joy of Tea. It was a mixture of tea and coffee and chocolate...unusual and refreshing. I tried the non-alcoholic version. I would recommend it for something different!
