What skill do you wish you had or would like to learn?

Personally I would love to do woodworking! I know that sounds strange but I would love to be able to create beautiful things. Right now I am envying ( is that a word? lol) a really pretty wooden pot rack on ebay its so simple and Im sure that I could make it with a few basic skills.

So how about you?

I wish I could play the piano. I would love to be able to play any kind of instrument, but mostly the piano.

I free lance as a wall muralist/decorator...but is never a career to bank on...I wish I had continued in Real Estate so that I was financially marketable anywhere. I wish I was involved with music somehow too....I love watching live bands perform, and wish I had the confidence to be like them!

I would love to master sewing and get comfortable with quilting. I'd also love to play the piano or guitar (or both).

And I'd love to be able to put colors together. I want to create a quilt in soft greens, cream, and pinks for our guest bedroom, but I don't have the confidence to go out and start picking fabric. Yikes!

I wish I could learn how to *focus* on stuff that needs to be done, instead of procrastinating and finding other stuff to do all the time.

In the fun area, I'd also like to learn more about woodworking. I've done *some* with my dad, but I don't feel confident enough right now to make anything without his help.

I'd also like to learn to quilt. I'm working on that one.

And I'd like to learn to oil paint like my mom. She does beautiful paintings, though of course she doesn't think they're that great. I really need to sit down with her and learn from her while I have a chance. Somehow, I need to find the time. (though right now, we're both interested in learning to quilt so are doing that together instead...)

And, I'd like to learn how to speak a foreign language fluently. I know a little German, and I'd like to brush up on that, but I never got *fluent* in it.
