What Size to Print?

I am working on my shirts. I have requested all the designs that I need and have downloaded them to my computer. I purchased my transfers from Amy and I am ready to print the images.

However, can someone tell me what the best size is to print them?

If you are printing an image for the front of a shirt for a Youth Small would you reduce the image to maybe a 5x7 instead of an 8x10?

I printed a test picture on 8 1/2 x 11 paper and placed it on a Adult Shirt and I think it will work perfect but for the kids I am wondering if it would be better to print them a little smaller.

Also, if you do a small image on the front (like a pocket image) do you print those 3x5?

Generally for children (younger children) I do a half sheet for toddlers/pre-school and around 2/3 a sheet for elementary-middle school depending on their size. But for high school and up you will want a full sheet (unless the high schooler is very small).

Do a trial print on regular paper using just your black ink and a "fast draft" print to conserve on ink. Then do a quick trim and place it on the shirt to see what you think about the size. That is what most people do on the Boards.

I am getting close to being done. I have completed the kids "Travel Packages" and have taken pics.

Today I will print all my shirt designs and order the shirt colors I need from my friend who owns a shop here in town.

I am still working on my Chip and Dale Grand Welcome and my other surprises. I hope to have everything done soon. We only have 52 more days and I still have so many ideas in my head that I'm hoping I'll get too.
