We are traveling to WDW in June and have a studio at BWV reserved. My father has just decided to join us and I am wondering if it is a queen or full pull out sofa and how confortable it is. We are excited about trying BWV, but will switch to OKW if we have to (for 2 queens). My girls and I don't mind a pull out if 1) we can fit and 2) there isn't a bar in the middle of our backs. Actually, those are my requirements as the kids really don't mind as long as we're at Disney. Thanks!

The studio has a full/double size sleeper sofa. The living room of a 1 bedroom would have a queen sized sleeper sofa. We just came back and it was a brand new sofa. My little one slept on it so I cant really comment on the comfort. It seemed nice when I was lying down with her at bed time. I took a picture of the underneath part that I will try to post later.

We always end up using the sofa beds. It is me, DH, DD 14 and DS 11. My daughter and I get the bedroom and my DH and DS get the sofa bed. So far so good. Neither one of them has ever complained that they were uncomfortable.

My adult DS always uses the sleep sofa when we have stayed in a 1 bedroom at the BCV. He has said that it is "okay". That said, he is eager to come with us trip after trip, so the bed must be comfortable :rotfl2:

Here is a pic of the new sleeper that we had in the studio portion of our BWV 2 bedroom last week.....

Our DS 15 slept on the new sleeper sofa at BWV as well. He said that it was very comfortable. The new sleepers are much easier to open than the old ones. You just pull on a strap that is attached to the back and the whole thing opens up easily - you don't even have to remove the cushions, they automatically fold underneath the bed. And there is a neat little storage spot for 2 pillows. I hope they replace the sofa beds at VWL with the same ones they have at BWV - the ones at VWL are a little tricky to open and close, and according to DS they are not as comfortable.

We stayed at BCV in November and had the old style sofa and it was miserable! There was the bar in the middle and the sofa frame was bent and did not lay straight. The newer style sofas are much more comfortable.

The question would be whether all of the sofas at BWV have been replaced with the new style, which I don't know the answer to. At OKW I was told they were replacing the sofas with the new style as the old ones wear out.

OKW would probably be the most comfortable for your father with the 2 queen beds.
