I'll be comin in this Sat. and going to Anaheim Hilton about 9:00 AM. Please what shuttles from SNA, approx price and how long should I plan on it taking to get to the Hotel? Thank you very much!

Well, I know there are other options but I've always used SuperShuttle and that's the only one I know. I have been extremely happy with them. It costs $10 pp each way, but there are several coupon codes out there that will give you $2-3 off each way per person, so that's quite a good savings. For instance, if you plug in this code UYR59 you will get a discount of $3 each way for a total round-trip price of $14 plus tip. You do have to book it online to get the discount but that also allows you to prepay the tip as well so you just hop on and off without worrying about money.

Now, if you have a larger party, you might want to use a taxi. It runs about $45 each way plus tip. They have taxi vans for the same price so even with larger parties you can all ride together.

I believe there is also a special (check out the supershuttle website) right now for first person to pay $10 and all others in the party pay $5, but if there is only one of you that doesn't do you much good!

Here is a site that lists various SS coupon codes http://www.retailmenot.com/view/supershuttle.com. The one above is the best deal, but if there is more than one person in your party, you must book each person separately to get the full discount. It's easy though because the info is saved and you just have to go back and plug in the next person's name. But there are several others that give you $2 off pp/each way and save you the trouble of separate bookings. Don't worry about being in different shuttles, btw--even with separate bookings you'll still be together with your party.

I know there is a Disneyland shuttle that goes from SNA to various hotels in the DLR resort area. I just don't know much about it. Does any one have details?

There is no free shuttle, if that is what you're asking about. There are several shuttle companies that will take you from SNA to the hotels in the DL area, SuperShuttle being the best known. There is also a Disneyland Express bus that leaves on the 1/2 hour or something. I'm not sure what the cost is, but I believe it's around $30 RT.

ETA: There is a free shuttle from some hotels to DL, but that is not the airport shuttle.

I have used Super Shuttle every time I've flown in SNA, just used it in May. If you have an Entertainment book there is a discount. Super Shuttle is less expensive than the Disneyland Resort Express (Grayline).

The time it takes depends on how many others are on your shuttle. It can take anywhere from 25 - 60 minutes in my experience.

I was talking about the Disneyland express bus... and I know it is not free. I just don't know about booking it or paying for it. I have either taken super shuttle from the airport or driven from arizona every time I have visited the parks

You can book online or call. It's Disneyland Resort Express by Grayline. Google either one and you'll find the website easily. I always check them both out, but Super Shuttle is always enough lower that I end up with them.

I went ahead and used Supershuttle. It was $10 and there were only three people on the van. My stop was first and the entire trip from loading till arrival was less then 30 min. I also returned on Supershuttle and had a smooth transaction. Thank you to all for all your help.

Geri,

Did you book this online ahead of time...or did you book it when you got into SNA?

We only need a one way shuttle ride from SNA to our hotel--we will have a car rental for the last portion of our trip.

TIA!

These days we just walk back to the shuttle area and catch what's available.

There's several smaller shuttle services ( white vans ) that tend to be ~$10/person that don't require reservations.

Coming back we call the shuttle we used 2-4 hours before we leave ( when we know when we're leaving ) and ask if they can pick us up. If not we just take a taxi/limo back.

When we used SuperShuttle, we booked it ahead of time so we could use a $3.00 off coupon. Can't really beat 7 bucks plus tip. I think the coupons are here: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/supershuttle.com

We had good luck with them; they picked us up promptly, and although the shuttle was full and we were the last of 5 stops, we were at our hotel within 45 minutes.

Hope that helps!
