At WDW?Indiana Jones,SuperstarTV,Monster Sound Show(Chevy Chase version)HDDR(Davey's angel) are the ones I've done. Please share your experience if you been chosen to be in Disney show or parade.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

But everyone else in the family has been. My DH and my DSIL were in Indiana Jones together as the commoners in the market place. During MVMCP both my kids did Belle's storybook christmas in Fantasyland. My DD was Chip and my DS was Lumiere. That was a really funny and great memory. Also, they pulled my DD into the parade once to dance with Wendy and Peter Pan. All of these have added such great memories of our trips.

I was in the Monster Sound Show in '95. As we were lined up to get into the show a cast member came out to pick volunteers. I was standing next to an elderly man whom the cast member was trying to persuade to participate. The man wanted nothing to do with it! The cast member then asked if I wanted to do it. I am pretty shy, and this is not something I would normally do, stand in front of a large audience! But what can I say, we were in WDW, I was going to go with the flow! It was fun and I'd advise anyone to jump at the chance to be in a show if offered. Its a great memory !! :smooth:

I was in a show at 'that other park' and also got dragged up onto the stage to dance in the Polynesian Luau one year.

I was in the old Monster Sound show too. The only part I remember is trying to make the sound effect for footsteps.:D

I was never in a show, but my dad was in the late 80's. It was one of the street performances in the WS at Epcot, in Italy. They were doing a skit, and were looking for a baker - one with "nice buns!" And they picked my dad! My mom, 2 sisters and myself were howling. It was also a little embarrassing, as I was a teenager at the time, and highly sensitive! It turned out to be a lot of fun, and for years, we jokingly reffered to my dad as "Baker Buns." ;)

don't know if this counts but i have made it to the hot seat twice at who wants to be a millionare, play it!!!

Haven't lucked out myself yet, but DS (teen at the time) was in SuperStarTV - Gilligan - and Monster Sound Show - footsteps, gravel, etc. DW got hauled up in the Adventurer's Club Library - not sure which show; all I remember was that her one line was "Eeeeeek".

I got to play the dating game once on the street in MGM, DH was in world showcase players (as King Arthur, I think), DD and I have been in millionaire hot seat.

My daughter Sydney was pulled to the front of the audience by "Jamie" the host of the Bear in the Big Blue House show at MGM in Dec 2002. Jamie introduced Sydney by name and told everyone to follow Sydney as she "growled" like a gorilla!!! Everyone clapped and Sydney told us "those are my fans!" it was wonderful.

This past trip in Sept (2003) she was selected to bang the drum at the Pocahontas show at AK. Unfortunaely my DH and I missed it because we went to do "it's Tough to be a Bug" and my mother took Sydney to the show. We joked that we knew the show word for word since we had seen it 4 times in the past and there was no reason for us to sit through it again. SHAME ON US!! We do have a photo but it's just not the same!!

Last year I was Bob Scratchit in a Scrooge skit in England at EPCOT WS. Had a blast.

Also during that same visit my niece participated in the magician show at the Diamond Horseshoe.

I was the "can can girl " at Hoop de Doo when we went in Nov 2002, and also at theBiergarte in Germany, I was was called on stage to be the "maestro" what fun!!!! :) :)

Laura :)

Just a few days ago, I ended up playing the washboard with the musicians that played at Norway, complete with Valkyrie horns with pink bows!

And, though it doesn't quite count, I'm on the video loop at WWTBAM that plays in the main queue area. For those that are going soon, look for the "Sacagawea" guy. That's me!

I thank you for your replys I think you all have some great magical memories of your visits to WDW.I love seeing the small ones when they are in parades and shows the magic you see in their eyes is so special to WDW.The adults if you are like me are a hoot and most make me laugh until it hurts.:earsboy:  :earsgirl: :sunny:

I have been in two shows, the Superstar Television twice, once as Lucy, and once as one of the dancers/singers (forget the name), and was also in an episode of Let's Make A Deal, and got to sit in the studio audience for it when it was being televised.

I was chosen for Murder She Wrote and the Monster Sound Stage. In 2000, (although you're not really "asked", I sat next to the red phone in the Comedy Warehouse and the very next trip DH had the honor of answering the phone! Even though he knew what was about to take place, he played dumb. It was hilarious. DH was also chosen on that same trip to don a yellow slicker and got soaking wet on the Studios Backlot Tour. He was also part of an act on one of the NY Street sets and it never fails...he always gets attention from the Living Statue. DH is rather attractive and very distingued looking. He's been asked several other times but he has refused. Not me...if they ask, I'm there! :)

My fiance was in the hot seat on September 17 and made it to the 250K point question but he got it wrong- he's still awesome though!!!

Although I've never been lucky enough to be in a show, twice my 3 children were picked for the tree lighting ceremony at MK. They accompanied Mickey, Minnie and the singers upstairs at the training station, were they participating in a little show before the christmas tree was lit!

My husband was lucky enough to be picked to dance the hula, complete with coconut bra at the Polynesian Luau! Sorry to say (or luck for him) that we left out camcorder in the room that night!!!

I was in the combat scene of the backlot tour at MGM. I was one of the deckhands on the PT boat. It was alot of fun. This was a big step for me as I normally prefer to blend into the background.

Have a great Disney day.:p
