If you had to miss one show, which would it be?

Interesting.... keep those responses coming!

How about the movie night? I'd rather see any of the live shows than a movie such as "Return from Neverland" (which was showing on our cruise).

Now, if the question had been "Which live show would you least wish to attend a second time?" then my answer would be Morty.

I'm using this as a guide for Palo ressies in case I don't get the ressie I want for movie night. Can someone tell me about the Morty show? Is that a magic show?

Yes......It's about a bumbling magician who works on his craft......I enjoyed it. My dd(10 at the time) loved this one. There were some neat effects, and it was enjoyable..........WWTBAM was what we missed.......I'm tired of the show on tv, so why go out of my way to see it on the ship.

I mistakenly thought I was going to see a magic show when we went to see morty. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed it was a play about a magician. We stayed for about 20 minutes and just couldn't get into the show. The performers were excellent, just didn't enjoy the story.

I also agree that the movie night was kind of a bummer. Of course my kids loved seeing Treasure Planet since they hadn't seen it yet, but I would have rather had another variety show.

kajohn, I'm glad you clarified this. I thought it was a magic show also. I've been thinking all along that if we miss a show it will be WWTB a Mouse. because we don't know THAT much about Disney and I think the kids would be bored. Maybe we'll skip both. Is the Morty show a musical?

I'm in the minority that said Disney Dreams. It is cute and all, but I thought the story was horribly weak. I would make it a "MUST NOT MISS" however, if you have little kiddies that love the characters.

Kathy...I am also in the minority with you and voted for Disney Dreams. I agree if you have small children that love the characters its a do not miss show, for me I've seen it and would not go for a repeat.

I like Disney Dream because of the characters but I agree the story is a bit lame....when we sailed with our friends back in '99 sans kids we all went to DD. Our friend came out shaking his head saying that was the worst thing he had ever seen. He thought it was WAY TO SAPPY.

Let's see what he says when he brings his little boy this time and sees his son's reaction who loves all the characters!!!!

My family loved Hercules! We thought it was hilarious. I can't believe its no. 2.

I can't believe Hercules is so unpoplular by DIS! It's my favorite!!! Is there something wrong with me?

If there is, then there's something wrong with me too! I LOVED "Hercules" both times we've seen it and we are looking forward to seeing it again in May on the Western. It is HILARIOUS! I LOVE Hades!

I voted for "Disney Dreams" -- way too hokey for me, but little kids love it! Would only go if I had little kids (mine are teens and don't even want to go to the show).

Unfortunately, I can't give a completely unbiased answer to the poll, because I've never seen Morty - after the rave reviews on the DIS boards for DD, I decided to make Sunday our Palo night, and skipped Morty. We skipped the PremEAR of Jungle Book 2 as well.

In retrospect, though, I agree with several other posters: the storyline in Disney Dreams is SO weak, I was actually quite disappointed at the end of the performance - and I'm a musical and Disney lover! It was fun to see the characters and all that, but the show was kinda a dud. Hercules was fun, Mouseketeer was a LOT of fun, and the various variety shows were good.

Next time (oh, I hope there is a next time!), I'm definitely going to make sure to see Morty, and I'll probably skip DD.
