What should my next resort be?

Found out today that the bounce back offer is free dining so we are definitely booking again for next summer. On my bucket list - to try all the Disney resorts So far I've done Pop, all star music, Caribbean beach and end of August we'll be going to Port Orleans French Quarter.

What should our next one be?

If you are a fan of Epcot and the studios, why not try a deluxe over there. DW and I loved Beach Club and Yacht Club and you can walk to both of those parks. :dogdance:

For a moderate - How about Coronado Springs? The theming there seems so fun and pool looks pretty awesome.
Personal recommendation - Boardwalk Inn, you'll find it to be slightly less expensive then BC/YC in the summer. I love the theming and the location.

I would say do Coronado and do POR last of all resorts. Because if you do POR first then all the other resorts will never really shine for you afterwards. :)

DH and I have the same bucket list :goodvibes and for our October trip we are staying at CSR (first time, so I am glad to hear the resort suggested a couple times on this thread) and next summer we are seriously considering an AKL stay. But one that I would suggest that we have already been to is 1) Port Orleans French Quarter (but you are already going to be heading there....BTW that is my favorite moderate by far) 2) BC...this is my favorite deluxe...love that it is so close to both DHS and Epcot, plus we all really like the pool, Beaches and Cream, Cape May Cafe (both for breakfast and dinner), plus you have the Boardwalk and all of it's atmosphere (especially at night) either a walk across a bridge or a boat ride away.

I love Port Orleans Riverside, one of my fav resorts.

I vote for Wilderness Lodge. I've done that one the most and will be there in a month. One of the cheaper Deluxe Resorts and right by MK and a boat ride to GF and Contemporary.

Good restaurants on site and also fun trails to walk, boating, and biking.

Love that place

Since its a summer stay, I'll say Beach Club for their fabulous pool. Or Wilderness Lodge, just because it's my favorite!

what's the budget like - if value - all stars movie, (would say Pop - but you have done it - after Pop the other value resorts are just rooms too me), or AOA (think I will love this one) it has rooms (very few) and suites.

moderate - for summer might go with CBR - not my favorite (PO is) but for summer it might work for you

deluxe - which is your favorite park

MK - then BLT, CR you can walk to it - followed by Polyn - monorail, boat (from resort) or ferry (TTC)

Epcot - then BC - the walk to EPcot is around 5 minutes - and love Cafe Cape May

studios - then BW - again you can walk - the walk is longer around 15 minutes.

AK is not even close to AKL/V - so anything will work for it

I also have to same goal of staying at every resort. Glad to know there are other out there. The bounce back is free dining?! We are supposed to be going to Disneyland next year but free dining! I say Port Orleans Riverside; it has been one of my favorites and don't make the mistake of going deluxe when you still have lower ones left to check off. I did that very thing and now have deluxe fever with a value sometimes if I'm lucky moderate budget.

We also want to test out every resort. We have done all of the moderates. I wanted to do AoA this trip - family suite since my dad is traveling with us, but he really wanted his own room :-(
So we are returning to our favorite - POFQ. Next year (May?) we are going to DL but once we are back in WDW we will actually try some value resorts & then later when kids are older go over to the monorail resorts. At least, that's our "plan"...

I would try a deluxe - Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, Animal Kingdom were all amazing places to stay.

I LOVE Coronado Springs. The resort is beautiful and usually very quiet. If you want a value, AOA. We stayed in a LM room. Their pool is awesome. And, to round it out..WL or AKL. I've been fortunate enough to stay at both of those deluxe, they're both great. I prefer AKL b/c it has BOMA. I like Boma better than Whispering Canyon which is in WL. However, if I can remember correctly buses were better at WL, b/c AKL is so far from everything. Oh and WL shares buses with the camp too.

With a free dining bounce back I would stick with a mod or a value. You'll pay rack rate for a deluxe, which gets steep. I'd try Coronado Springs or POR.

I totally agree with Aurora0427. Depending on how many people are in the OP's party, their eating habits, etc. it might not be financially wise to book a deluxe hotel on free dining. Deluxe resorts are probably best booked on a room only bounce back offer.

We are also making our way through all the resorts. Upcoming stays are at GF and then CSR.

I just wanted to say that you may want to finish with the Values before you begin with the Deluxes. Staying at a Deluxe really alters your perception of Values. I'm glad we completed the Values - we enjoyed each stay, lumping the All-Stars together, before we ventured on.

We just got back from a quick trip to Disney. We stayed in the Ranchos section of CSR. We loved it! The whole resort is beautiful, especially at night. The pool was a lot of fun. We felt so relaxed at CSR and can't wait to go back.
