DH and I are having lunch at the BD in a couple of days. What's good? What's not good? TIA

To get a piece of the Grapefruit Cake,it is outstanding. When I go back I am getting 4 piece's of it and that's dinner for me.:goodvibes :goodvibes Danny

The Cobb Salad is the best. The Grapefruit cake is good too my DH loves it. Me I have some wonderfull Creme Brulee at BD once it was a key lime. They also have some great Martinis at BD. Have a great lunch.

I will very often have the "Cobb Salad For Two" Appetizer as my main course.

I get the coconut encrusted tofu with red curry sauce and noodles. Yum!
I am not a fan of the cobb salad though my DH loves it and gets it every time. To me the cobb salad is just chopped up too fine. I like to give my teeth a work out when I eat and the cobb feels pre-chewed to me (which was the whole point as it was invented for a man with teeth trouble.) I don't care for the grapefruit cake either (I don't like the citrus & cream combo) but they always have something good and chocolate-y for those of us who don't care for the cake.

Another vote for the Cobb Salad! It is heavenly and light!
DH says Ahi Tuna is awesome and I ate the crab cakes for dinner once and they were divine!

Also, if you drink adult drinks- consider the Rasperry Martini! [/COLOR]

I really like the grouper and asparagus dish at Brown Derby. The cobb salad is chopped too finely for my taste. I prefer it chunkier than how they serve it.

Cobb salad for lunch, Salmon for Dinner, Grapefruit cake for dessert.

We didn't like it all that much, but a friend of mine got the Cobb Salad and loved it. She, like my DH, did not like the grapefruit cake at all.

I not only love the cobb salad but the last time we went I ordered the filet mignon which was excellent.:thumbsup2

Noodle Bowl with Wok Fried Coconut Tofu - I get this without the mushrooms and love it. So yummy. I'm not even really a huge coconut fan, but it's good in this.

Cobb Salad - I've personally never had this, but my mom loves it.

Pumpkin Cheesecake - Not sure if this was a winter-only dessert, but it was so, so good.

After reading all the recommendations for it, does anyone know if you can get the cobb salad for one? I'd really like to try it but my DH is vegetarian so I've no one to split it with!
