What should I name my gerbil?

I am getting a new pet and I decided to get a gerbil or guinea pig, what should I name it? I am getting a male one, so give me some boy names. I was thinking of like Monty or Theodore or Gregory. I was thinking of some other names but I forgot. Can you help?

i have two gerbils and a mouse. the mouse is named gremlin, the grey grebil i have is fish food, and a tan one is named lobster.I think my mouse is pregant(sp?). i don't if the gerbils are male or female yet there too young but this would be a good cross breed project to get some brownie points in my biology 2 class!!

BTW--if you get a gerbil, be sure you get two. They are communal animals and they get lonely enough to die if they don't have another gerbil for company. Get two gerbils from the same group and they will not fight, even two boys will not fight. If you introduce a strange gerbil to the cage--holy cow, World War III!

Also, know that if you get a mating pair you will have gerbils every 28 days.We now have 18! anybody else need a gerbil?

Get the guinea pig!! I have 3! We had gerbils before, two of the lil things. they escaped many times and bit, HARD!
