What should I expect at MK evening EMH in July?

My family and I are going to try to hit MK for evening EMH in July. We always rope drop, so we end up back at the resort after dinner most nights. This year, I want to go to EMH at MK. I have no idea what to expect. We will be at EP during the day and are planning to hop to MK after dinner. Are the lines really going to be shorter? When I look at touring plans, it seems like the lines will be very short for most, but not all, attractions that are open at that time. Are there certain attractions that I should plan to visit that evening instead of on one of our other days at MK? TIA!
