What should I do?

we are meeting family that lives in florida and I have a reservation for 10 people at Homecomin on Saturday April 30th and just found out an extra person is meeting us. i tried to add a person to the reservation but all it says is there no times for that many people. will they let us still come with one extra person or should i try calling the restaurant and see what they can do? i really don't want to lose the reservation though as this would be my family's first time eating there and we are all really excited to eat there. we do have a back up plan just in case they can't accommodate us though.

Call the restaurant. They may be combining a lot of tables to do this, so there may be extra room for 1 person. Usually, it's easier to add 1 to an odd number, since most tables are configured for even numbers. However, when they have to combine so many tables, there may be room.
