What shoes???

I use both my KEENS and Ecco watershoes.

I also do use a pair of Northface water shoes but they are just back-ups.

DD is all about the crocs and DW did VegJr (like crocs) on our June trip.

Used to do cross-trainers and reefs for MGM and a shorter day. This year it's going to be crocs and the reefs.

Yes I was hesitant to buy the crocs but after wearing the Mary Jane's to work most days and I've had little problem with my ankle tendonitis. I have size 12 feet, they look big already the crocs really don't make a difference! :goodvibes

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. ;) This was taken during our last trip.

That is just PRICELESS. :teeth: Those itty-bitty ones on the far left are soooo cute!!

Last time it was Nike air's thw whole time, but we used foot balm BODY GLIDE. No problems till we ran out if BODY GLIDE!

I wear the water shoes ( have to be good Quality) because the breath and are normally light weight. If I'm hot I can soak them and let them dry. All of mine have great support( I also forgot my Solomons that convert to a mule type).

They are also nice because when it rains or getting on water rides they are very stable and made for just that type of thing.I wear them year around here in MD.with a pair of fleece socks .

My keens worked the best this pass June wore them in the waterparks and all and never had a problem.I also use some BodyGlide with them and the watershoes when not wearing socks.

I just wear whatever sneakers I happen to have at the time. I sometimes bring along a good pair of SAS walking shoes to mix it up a bit.

Don't be fooled by this picture they washed up on the beach after the previous family came back into sanity. THE A.F.C HAS SPOKEN! :thumbsup2  :thumbsup2

Hey Mom! wear your tennies! or if its really hot, buy some really comfortable shoes, or wear your teva's!

Just got back from being at WDW for a week...
not that I didn't like my Crocs, but I just liked my tennis shoes that are so lightweight and comfy just a little bit more... and in WDW, that edge wins...
Whatever you wear, I say Body Glide is a must.... not one blister or hot spot on our feet whatsoever!!! You could bring a couple pairs and see what works best for you! :) Have fun!

I always wear running shoes, usually New Balance or Nike, and I wear them with dri-fit ankle socks. I see some of the ladies at the parks and I just cringe at what they wear - flip flops, heeled sandels or poor quality canvas shoes. If your going to go all day out on your feet, you need to wear something thats going to absorb all the shock. Otherwise, you'll get tired quickly.

Hubby just bought these great Adidas sneakers that have openings on the sides so your feet can breath and he loves them. They're like a cross between a sneaker and a water shoe. Plus, he doesn't have to wear socks! :stitch:

So this Body Glide... you put it on your feet even when wearing socks?

What are the best running/walking shoes?

Body Glide...yes, you put it on and then your socks.... wouldn't recommend it w/o socks (for example, with sandals, etc.) since your feet would probably slide. I had to wear socks with my Crocs one day because I wasn't thinking that they would slide like they did. It was nerdy, but comfy.
As far as running and walking shoes, I would recommend trying a bunch of different brand and styles to see which you like. It's way too hard to recommend something since we all have a different idea of what would be comfortable and our feet are all different.
I can say, the lightest most comfortable shoes I've had are Polo Sport X-67s...they are mesh and sooo lightweight!

I like Nike Free running shoes...lightweight and no socks required. If you're not a runner, it takes awhile to adjust to these shoes.

Also like flip flops on hot days.

where can one buy body glide and mole skin and any other foot care items that you think I will need? Does Wal-mart carry this?
Thanks

I got my Bodyglide at Dick's Sporting Goods. I would think any large sporting goods store would have it. Moleskin and other footcare products can be found at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.
