I wear Propet Wash and Wear walking shoes to Disney. Since they can be thrown in the washer, it doesn't damage them to get wet. I always take two pair on the trip so if one pair gets rained on, I have another pair to wear until they fully dry. So long as I am not wading through standing water, they don't really need to dry out.

As long as there is no frost on the ground, I don't mind exposing my feet to the elements. But I will bring socks and running shoes to change into if the rain clears up and it's cold.

Keen sandals if it is warm weather. My hiking boots if it is not. They are waterproof and very comfortable and warm.

If I know it's going to be that cold and have chances of rain I wear my Uggs down and wear them in the rain (I have a waterproof pair)
Otherwise, I wear any of my sport sandals (keen, chaco, teva, etc) that are well equipped to stand up to puddles. I don't wear flip flops because they get slippery in the rain

Teva sandals if it's warm, lightweight sneakers or rainboots depending on the amount of rain, if it's colder

I have a couple of pair of keen like sandals that can be worn with socks, if I'm wearing long pants or leggings it doesn't look too weird. I've been known to wear tennis shoes and just take 3 pair so I can switch out and give the wet pair two days to dry out. We always go in the Spring/Summer/Fall so it hasn't been a problem but I'm thinking about taking a trip down the week before xmas (last minute thought, I'm trying to decide between there or the beach, WDW is actually cheaper) so if I do that I'll most likely bring my tennis shoes.

Rain or shine I wear sneakers (yoga mat ones from Sketchers) unless I really want to wear a dress. In that case I'll wear Grasshopper brand sandals.

In the past, I've worn sneakers with socks. I pack two pairs of shoes so I can rotate them to dry them out between wearing.

I love my Keen sandals so I may try those in the future. Wet socks are no fun!

I wear my same running shoes, but I make sure my socks are ones that will dry quickly.

Rain in WDW is a variable experience. While nothing is etched in stone, summer rain tends to be heaver than winter rain. In summer I wear fully waterproof quality sandals. In winter, I can usually get away with sneakers, and they don't get soaked.

I've tried almost everything:
Crocs sometimes have an odd way of catching on the pavement that can lead to tripping.

Cheap flip flops can get very slippery on the inside, but if you are bringing a day bag, then they fit easily as an short term option while the rain is heavy. They are pretty light and compact.

Other times, in the past, we've been able to simply wait out the downbursts. (Harder to do now with fixed FP times.)

The big thing with wet sneakers is that they can develop a very foul odor!

If all else fails, there's an outlet mall near WDW! (just across I-4)

I bring two pairs of sneakers. If one gets wet, I'll wear the other pair and stick newspaper in the wet pair so they dry out faster. While wet sneakers and socks do suck, I find it easier to walk in than sandals - especially flip flops where my feet keep slipping and sliding out of them.

I wear New Balance running shoes - the kind that doesn't allow water in - in the winter. That's what I wear when it's colder outside.

My daughter calls them my old lady tennis shoes - I call them comfy. LOL

Keens. In warmer weather, seen sandals. In colder weather, Keen hiking shoes
