what shoes do you wear

My heals ache. Not so much walking, but when standing in one place - anyone else?

I have plantar fascitis, and I wear Keen sandals. My heel problems are caused by a high arch, so I need something with good arch support.

Switch between my Asics gel Kayanos and my Keen Newport H2's. Biggest thing for me is arch support so the "comfy soft" shoes such as Crocs, etc are completely out. Tried Crocs one year and REALLY regretted it - major pain and arch damage.

I usually wear flip flops & dresses. We go in July so it's really hot. This year I was sick if dresses everyday so I wore Sketches Go Walkers a few times. So comfy! But not so good in the rain. We got drenched at Hollywood Studios one day. The memory foam filled with water & squished with every step! They took 2 days to conpletely dry. And I got a blister on one toe from the wetness rubbing on it.

I have only been to MK one day (except when I was a child) and that day I wore flip flops. They ended up being alright for one day, but definitely not more than that. When we go for 8 days in December, I am planning on taking my Tom's and Sperry's. We aren't planning on taking afternoon breaks (pretty much doing RD to park close) but we have a bunch of ADRs scheduled, so hopefully that will help. I am definitely nervous about achey feet!

On dry days I wear my Mossimo flip flops which are pretty flat with a little cushion and if it's rainy I wear my converse. I too have high arches and I find that all the shoes withthe built in arch support make me feet hurt more so I stick with my flat shoes

I recently bought a pair of Reef Dream flip flops and they feel like they are massaging my feet with each step. They're awesome. I have a lot of heel pain (not plantar fasciitis) from what I think is an inflamed joint in my heel. These really help.

Sneakers - and if we decide to hop on a wet ride I have my Chacos / Flip-flops to swap out.

I have flat feet so my feet tend to get uncomfortable if I wear my Chacos all day - plus they swell up and the straps get very tight.

Some kind of high-end hiking sandals that have treaded rubber soles, leather insoles, and strong leather straps with velcro fasteners. I got 3 pairs many years ago at Mountain Equipment Co-op (Canadian chain). They're my normal, everyday footwear all summer so I'm completely used to them. I can walk and stand on them for hours. The soles are almost 1 inch thick so you can walk through small puddles and not get wet.

The only drawback for theme-park touring is that if they get wet the leather insoles feel slimy and it takes them a while to dry out. To avoid this when riding on raft rides, I take them off and slip them into the waterproof compartment with the hats and fanny packs. Cast members don't like this because they want you to have shoes on in case of an emergency evacuation, but we do it anyways!

Sneakers, but never a brand new pair. I choose whichever ones I have that are best for walking all day.

I wear my nike's in the morning and switch to a comfy pair of sandals or flip flops in the afternoon. This SAVED my feet last trip. Having different parts of your feet rubbed half a day versus a full day really made a difference. Our first trip I only wore my skechers and could barely walk at the end of day 1.

I did make the mistake of wearing croc sandals last year not realizing that when they get wet they are slippery! My foot was sliding in and out of them for a while, it was super uncomfortable.

We go in the summer when it rains so I wear a variety of crocs, teva mush flip flops or fit flops. Anything cushy that dries out quickly after a downpour. I switch out my shoes every day and never have any foot issues. My dh wears sperry classics or croc classics he gave up on sneakers after wearing them in the rain the first trip.

I need good support, always New Balance sneakers. I bring sandals and flip flops and end up only weaingr them at the pool or outside the parks. Tried crocs once, complete disaster, my feet were killing me. This year I'm brining GoWalks to have on hand to give the NBs a break. They don't have enough support for me for everyday
