I think my basement would be YC distribution center :rotfl:

Bad news on this front though. Corporate Hallmark stores will no longer be discounting Yankee Holiday candles past 40%. Yankee has given Hallmark Corp. a guarantee that the candles will be able to be packed away for the off season and brought back out without any issues or they will replace them. So the corp stores will run a 40% off sale for a bit since this is basically selling them at their cost, but will eventually pull them and put them into understock to be brought back out at full price. Not sure what they will do with discontinued fragrances though - I would think in that case that they would do the needed markdowns. And of course, this is just corp. Hallmark stores so independants don't necessarily have this arrangement with Yankee so you may still see extensive markdowns there.

Have you guys seen the Hallmark Gold Crown exclusive line of candles that Yankee produced for them? It's not just a scent like they did with Blueberry Muffin, it's an entire line of candles. It's called Yankee at Home. All of the candles are mixes of 2 pretty much unrelated fragrances (for example maybe something like Cucumber and Green Tea). The packaging is different than the traditional Yankee jars. These come in glass "sleeves" with no lid so basically it's like enclosing a pillar candle in a big glass holder. If anyone is familiar with Northern Lights candles, they are similar to those. They put a wax stopper that is about 1/8th of an inch thick on the top to keep the scent in check while in the store since there is no top. They also have a sleeve that is shaped like an hourglass. In addition there are different gift sets and potpourris. No tarts though.

And the best part....

There are coupons in I think Lauri said 9 major magazines that give you a free votive (which comes in a glass sleeve holder) of your choice when you buy $10 worth of Yankee at Home in your Hallmark store. It's a $3.50 value!

I have a Pumpkin Spice candle on the warmer. I found it at Kohl's last fall and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this scent. It smells nice without being overpowering. I am trying to saturate the house with this for our open house tomorrow.
