What SAP to buy?

One thing to consider is the time value of money: if you buy resale now and save a huge chunk, you can invest that money and then later, when the 2042 resorts expire, consider buying into direct at that point.

We bought SSR as SAP and got a great deal resale. It was our first contract and got us “in the door” as members. We then added on direct where we REALLY wanted to own, RIV with a smaller contract. We plan on using banking/borrowing strategy to stay at RIV and mixing in the SSR points for larger units elsewhere.

I do not recommend buying SSR unless you are fine with it being your only choice however. We like it enough to be fine with it as a choice at 7 months. My son loves the “sleeping Mickey” pull down beds in the one bedroom unit.
