I know you have to book reservation while your staying at Disney. Do you only have to put down a deposit ? Can you change your dates to different dates later ? Are the offers usually for only this year or are they for next year too?

Yes you have to pay 1 night deposit (just like a normal rezzie). You can change the dates just as long as those dates weren't blacked out on the offer (always a good idea to take the card home with you). Of course there is no guarantee that the date you want to change to later on is available.

Well at least the Bouneback card lists what days are available and what days are blacked out, which is the same for everyone one of the WDW Resorts. However the difference is some resorts might have their room categories available with the Bounceback rate and others might already be sold out of the Bounceback rate.

Is bounceback only for the current year that you visit? We are going in October, but are currently booked for June too. I would GLADLY cancel our current booking if we could get a bounceback for June. That would be AWESOME especially since it will be AKL :cool1:. If it is only for the current year and you can change dates, would I be able to book for some time in December 2011 and then change for June 2012 if our dates were not black out dates?:confused3 TIA!

We recently returned and the card in the room only went through 2011 I'm pretty sure.

If they have 2012 BB offers I guess the question is when do they put that card in the room - how late in 2011 or do they wait until 2012.

The deposit is 1 night's room rate + tax for room only and $200 for a package. You can change your dates later on if the dates you want to change to are included in the BB offer and the resort you want has availability :).

The BB dates depend on when it's offered. At this time of year the BB would most likely be for the remainder of 2011. For BB's that have dates into the following year, those would probably come out sometime in October and carry through November and December.

If you book for December, you can switch dates, but only for dates offered on the BB. If you are asking if you can book for December (if the BB dates are only through this year) to guarantee the discount and then change to June 2012 and keep the discount, the answer to that is no. You can definitely make any changes you want, but you would lose the discount if your dates didn't fall within the BB dates.

Of course no one knows yet if the BB will be the same for next year, but I just wanted to warn you if you're not going the very first part of June 2012 you might be out of luck, seeing that the BB dates for June this past year were only the dates: 5/31/11—6/4/11.

After 6/4/11 it jumped clear to 8/21/11 to start the next set of BB dates:

2/27/11-3/5/11, 5/8/11-5/27/11, 5/31/11-6/4/11, 8/21/11-10/8/11, 10/23/11-10/29/11, 11/13/11-11/19/11, 11/27/11-12/3/11, 12/11/11-12/17/11

Again though, no one knows what they'll do, but just something to keep in mind :thumbsup2

When we've been in November, the BB dates offered were only thru December of the same year. Bounceback offers seem to only benefit those traveling early in the year or those who visit multiple times in one calendar year. I thought I remembered the "new" BB dates not being offered until January or February of the next year.

I didn't think to call during our stay....maybe they would have offered extended dates if I'd called...hmmm. Anyone try that?

Thanks for all the answers. Hate that BB is so limiting...guess I hate even more that my WORK is even more limiting, but with work we couldn't afford ANY time at WDW. Budget for full rate and IF something comes up and we get luck so be it...if not we are luck to be at WDW! :goodvibes

i have never got a BB offer in my room(s)
maybe because i usually score some sweet deal to begin with, like 40% off

my question is, are they tied to a person or can you "transfer it"?
ie if a guest in the room next to me got a card, could i use their card and make a ressie
or
if the room is in my name but my brother is listed on my room could he use it

When we were at the AKL last November (2010), we had a bounceback offer which was good for a bunch of dates in August of 2011 only. When I called Disney reservations, I asked the question that if I booked for the following August but then wanted to change our date to another time of year could we and the reservationist told me I wouldn't be able to do that - it was strictly for the dates listed on our offer sheet. When we were at CSR in October of '09, we had the same type of offer that was only good for August dates of the following year....since you couldn't pay us enough $$ to go to Disney in August (way too hot for us) we never took advantage of the offers. Oh and both of our offers only required a $200 deposit to hold.

They're not transferrable.

Because some people take the flyers home, not all rooms may have a flyer in them. If you are staying in a WDW owned resort during the time the bounce backs are offered you are eligible for one. Just ask the housekeeper for a flyer or call the bounceback number from your room. The number is 8844.

Anyone that is listed in the room can book a bounceback. You can not book a bounceback room for Aunt Susie back in Delaware though. In other words I was the lead name on a reservation with my mom and husband. Any of us three could have booked a bounceback as long as were were the lead name on that bounceback. I could not have used it to book a room for my son or neighbors who were not there and listed them as the lead name on the reservation.

I have a new question re. bounceback offers. I have a reservation next month, but would like to book another reservation in November. Can I modify the rate of the November rate to the bounceback offer if it's not blacked out, and I find that I have a bounceback offer in my room:confused:?

By the way, does anyone know what the November dates are?

Last year, we booked FD with the BB offer - but wow, was it ever hard to get a flyer. I called mousekeeping several times and finally a poor confused CM with very little english came to our door with a flyer - it took her a couple tries and she still wasn't sure that this was what we wanted. But she was very nice and was the only one willing to try. Oh yeah, I first tried at the front desk and they said they were out of them. They probably should have found me the code, but I don't think they were feeling very service oriented at the moment I asked them ;).
