If you like all the themed rooms at AOA,(not the LM standard rooms) which one would you pick and why? Better to be closer to the pools, food or what? Would you ask for the first, second or thrid floor I know that's just a request but if you had to pick what would you go for?

I would ask for Lion King, not the first floor and lake view. Other than that, all of the LK buildings are pretty close to the bus/food court

I booked Nemo, and I showed pics of all three to my girls and let them choose. Nemo it is. :)

I would prefer to not be on the first floor, but I haven't requested that. I might when I do online check-in. I would also prefer not to be facing the pool, I think. I wonder if you can see the Lion King theming from one side of Nemo building 5. Does anybody know? If so that'd be perfect for me. Nemo room with a Lion King view!

We had a cars room, which would be the equivalent of a LK room I think. I liked it. We were not lakeside exactly, but in that wing. It wasn't noisy at all. The building is close to the laundromat and the cozy cones pool which was very convenient. As far as distance to dining, it wasn't far at all imo. If you *have* to be in the middle of it all, go for the Nemo rooms.

I visited the property a couple of weeks ago. The large Lion King figures are all between the two LK buildings. Depending on where you are in Building 5, you may be able to see Rafiki and Simba on the near end, but that's about it.

We requested Cars Building #3 (#1 and #3 seem to be closest to Animation Hall and the main pool. Bldg #3 seems to be the best chance at a Lake View. Because it is indoor corridors, I didn't request a specific floor. In the end I would be happy with most anything but there are certain sections of bldg #2 that look far away (it probably isn't really that far but I wanted to request something and that is how I made the decision)

Just popping this over to the Resorts board.

Have a look at the photo gallery as Corey has posted up some great photos here :thumbsup2

Thanks! Hmm. I think I might request to face the Lion King area and see what we end up with. Whatever we get I'll be happy.

Thanks so much, I'm checking out the pictures now. I will show my son and we will go with what he wants.

We would request Lion King simply because it's our favorite among the 3. And we always prefer the top floor - for some reason I think I read they have 4 floors at AoA but I could be wrong on that one. We think the top floor is quieter.

We were in Nemo, 3rd floor facing the pool in June. It was LOUD! If I had to stay there again, I would book LK and request either 4th floor, close to main building or 4th floor, Lake view. I think the latter request might be the quietest.

For any of the buildings, I would request the 4th floor as there is no one above you to make noise!
