What room to request a VWL?

We are hoping to book at VWL for a June 13 -19 2010 trip... my 7 month window is this Friday! We will need a 2BR dedicated, Can someone tell me where to request to get a good lake / pool view that is also close to the elevators? My DH and my Disney Dad both have bad knees and it would be best to not have them doing a lot of stairs. Thanks

Rather than request a specific room, just state your preferences for a pool/lake view room near the elevator. That tells the room assigner what's important to you and they will do their best to satisfy that within the room class that you reserved.

There isn't really much of a lake view. Maybe on the highest floor you can see a little bit of blue through the trees, but that's about it.
