What role were you accepted for?

My daughter got housekeeping and other than it is physically hard work, which she is ok with, I haven't seen anyone else saying that's wherre they were assigned.....I am afraid she will be lonely since she will be basically cleaning rooms by herself.

Anyone else get housekeeping? Or have input? :confused3

One of my good friends was housekeeping for the Contemporary and she really enjoyed it. I will admit that at first she wasn't really fond of it, but it definitely got better as she got used to it. She was able to keep her tips that guests left for her, and even got to go up to the top of the Contemporary and watch the 4th of July fireworks from Magic Kingdom! It is really demanding and can be some long hours, but she made some serious money. Her favorite part was leaving the towels in the shapes of Disney characters, and seeing the families keep her towel collection in their rooms throughout their stay. Hope this helped!

Also, i had a couple friend who were lifeguards. One at Typhoon Lagoon and he got to help out in the Shark Pool, and another at Blizzard. There's constant rotation throughout the day, so you're not in the same place for your whole shift. You can also be a lifeguard at a hotel.

So far, I have not seen anyone else accepted with my role either! I was accepted for Food Prep in Disneyland. Sorry I have no input on housekeeping, but maybe certain roles are accepted more slowly, or more people toward the end? I'm really not sure how many people are accepted for each role so I'm not sure if I'm just not seeing many people because overall there aren't a lot accepted, or just because they haven't let people know yet.

I forgot about the tips :) I will paass that long to her, as a guest I loved leaving little "mousekeeping" envelopes for them, wanting to make them as happy as they always made us.

She worked hard to lose weight and is actually happy that her job will be somewhat physical to stay that way. She amazes me more and more everyday. :lovestruc

Oh you just got accepted!? CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you! :goodvibes

I'm still waiting. Pending, day three!

Yes! I got accepted this morning. I'm crossing my fingers for you!! I really want you to get it too!! :tinker:

(Tinkerbell to send you pixie dust, lol)

I got hospitality! I'm really excited because that was my top choice.. but also a little nervous because I feel like (at least everyone I've seen so far) that also got hospitality has had some sort of hotel/hospitality experience. We'll see! Hopefully I'll be good at it.

YAY, i got accepted for Hospitality also:banana::banana:

Hi all! I will be going back for my second program, doing photopass again! I haven't updated my blog in like 3 months (despite promising in the blog to do so) but check it out if you want a good read. I did a pretty good job of writing about check in and my job while I was down there.

I know this thread is more for CPers but I am so excited that I just got my PI call today. I was accepted as a Workforce Management PI. Any other PIs out here?

*SO EXCITED!*

This is my first time posting here, wanted to wait until I had something to post.

Just got my email this morning and I was accepted as a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Hostess for Spring Advantage! I'm ecstatic! :yay:
