What rides to NOT go on?

In short, I hate the "drop" feeling that I get on rides...I just can't do them.

What rides should I be avoiding? I know tower of terror, splash mountain, rocknroller coaster, what else?

TIA!

Stitch. It has nothing to do with drops. It's just a really terrible ride. I hate drops too. DH said that RNRC didn't have any major drops, mainly a loop, but YMMV. Avoid Expedition Everest; it has a backwards drop. Pirates of the Caribbean has a small drop; however, without any seat bar or belts, it always bothers me a little.

Is it speed or drops that you don't like, or both? I'm only asking because Rock N' Roller coaster doesn't really have any drops, although it does have a couple very smooth loops.

Do you go upside down on it? Does your head get bumped around? I usually wait with my youngest but my daughter wants me to try it and I hate roller coasters.

You do go upside down (loop) but it is fairly smooth for a coaster. Plus you get to jam out to Aerosmith during the ride!

RnRC is very smooth. Ask to be near the front and keep your head against the back of the chair and your head will not get tossed around.
It does go really fast and there is a loop and a corkscrew, but it goes not create that dropping feeling.
You should try it - its 90 seconds out of your life and you might love it!

I hate that drop feeling too (but I still go on the rides because I'm a sucker for punishment lol)... RNRC is extremely smooth. I was so scared to go on it the first time, to the point I was shaking. The initial G-forces when it takes off bothers me (feels like you can't breathe for a split second), but other than that I never get that "fall out of my seat" feeling.

As mentioned, RnR does go upside down with loops and a corkscrew. If you decide to ride, you will not want to ride in the very back car to avoid your head banging around. We've ridden many, many times and it is a very smooth ride except when we've ridden in those last seats. If assigned, just let CM know you will wait for seats on next train.

In addition to Expedition Everest, I would suggest Star Tours could give you the drop feeling even though just a simulator.

And definitely Primevial whirl if you want to avoid another "coaster" that can bang you around.

Space mountain has one little spot with drop feeling but I wouldn't pass on it. Do ride in front car not very back to lessen banging around.

If you can tolerate a quick small drop, Pirates won't be a problem and Mine Train shouldn't be either.

If you are at all worried about some rides causing you issues, schedule them after you've covered most of what you want to do so in case you don't feel great after, you have not ruined your opportunity to enjoy those attractions.

Pirates has a small drop.

I am sensitive to drops ... and pretty much everything else! The "drop" on Pirates was not perceptible to me. I didn't even know it had a "drop" until I read about it later. It didn't trigger that stomach sensation even a little.

I'm terrified of drops but I've rode everything except Tower of Terror and Everest. ToT , Everest and Splash have large drops. Pirates has what I would consider a "doable" drop . If I remember right this one is only about 14 ft long and runs at a 21 degree angle so IMO it's more of a rush down hill than an actual drop. Space Mountains drop is a little longer and steeper than Pirates and was one of my favorite rides until it started hurting my back too much to enjoy the ride anymore

You should give Rock N Roller Coaster a try. There's no drops but you do go upside down, but it's so fast and smooth that it's over before you even realize whats happening.I think the total ride time is 58 seconds. IMO the real adrenaline rush on this ride is how they get you pumped up with the music and the launch.

Just put your head back!

the 7 dwarves was one of the smoothest rides I've ever had. Yes it had drops, but they tend to curve around a corner, so it mitigates it. You might want to try that.

Rnrc is definitely a smoother roller coaster than some I've been on, but my head still gets banged around on it. I try hard to keep it all the way back against the seat, but I'm 5'1" and it doesn't seem to matter. I can only ride it once, but the launch is fun. I actually find the hulk to be less impact on my head and can ride it over and over.

Space Mountain has a lot of short drops that you don't see coming.

I hate drops also but find Splash Mountain no big deal. More concerned with how wet I might get I guess

I have the same problem as you concerning drops and I find RNCR to be very fun. You do twist and go upside down, but I find that I'm already right side up by the time my brain registers that it's upside down. It's a smooth and easy ride. I'd at least give it 1 shot. I finally did and now we ride it multiple times each visit.

Thanks I have ridden most of these. I love Space Mountain but have been going on it since I was a kid in Disneyland, also used to do the Matterhorn there. As an adult though I am not a fan of roller coasters. I haven't done the primeval whirl or Everest at AK, and haven't done RnR or ToT at HS (I love Star Tours though), I love Test Track at EPCOT and I've done every ride at MK but I despise Splash Mountain, the drop scares the crap out of me.

I guess I will give RnR a try, thanks for the warning about not sitting in the back.
