What rides/shows will they NOT let you film???

I am going to Disney in May and bringing my camcorder to capture all I can. However, I don't want to cause any problems filming something I shouldn't be.

What are the rides and/or shows that they will NOT let you film?

on a lot of rides they say not to video tape, but usually you have that one guy that sits there and films the entire thing...so even if they tell you not to film, sometimes you can still get away with it.

Its been my experience that all the dark shows that would be interrupted by filming (the light, even a dim one) are the ones that are forbidden. Examples are: Voyage of the Little Mermaid (MGM), Philarmagic (MK), Pirates of the Caribbean (MK), Haunted Mansion (MK), Peter Pan Flight (MK). They make a big deal of announcing the ones that are not allowed to be filmed so you won't miss being told. I would say all of the outdoor rides are permitted. I've got tons of footage that I took last year, believe me you won't go away feeling like you couldn't film anything, there's plenty to keep you busy. Enjoy! HTH.

I think that part of the reason that they tell you no video cameras or flash photography is because it can ruin the ride for other people. I have witnessed it first hand and it can be annoying when you have someone infront of you or behind you filming a ride. To me Haunted Mansion is the worst place for a video camera because it is dark and even if you do not have a light on your video camera the light from the screen will project onto things in HM and ruin the effect. Also, Pirates of the Caribbean is another ride that the light from a video camera can ruin. Really you just need to think about others around you and how it will hurt them.

I know that they have actually stopped Star Tours before for people filming. Other than that, the only other attraction where I know there is no filming are the 3-D films - Muppets, Honey, Philharmagic, and Bug. Most are okay as long as you don't use a flash or light.

When in doubt, ask outside the attraction.

I know when we were at the Tiki Room, a cm had said no photos, and someone tried to video, they stopped them!
