What rides do you skip at Magic Kingdom?

What do you skip at MK???

We have a DS age 7 and are thinking we will skip:

Tiki Room,
Riverboat,
Country Bears Jamboree,
Hall of Presidents,
Stitch's Great Escape
Carousel of Progress.

Not sure about:
Astro Orbiter
Magic Carpets
Jungle Cruise

Depends obviously on your 7yo, but that's a decent list of things that a "typical" 7yo may not care about. I would consider Jungle Cruise, though.

Tiki Room, I LOVE the Tiki Room - it's fun and a great way to beat the heat for a bit. If time permits, your 7yo will probably like it
Riverboat,I would only do it if he really wants to try it
Country Bears Jamboree, My grandfather loved this attraction, so I have a sentimental attachment. It's skippable though if you don't make it.
Hall of Presidents,Yes, your son will be bored here
Stitch's Great Escapedark and a little scary. You aren't missing much.
Carousel of Progress.Again, one of our faves and my boys have enjoyed it at all ages

Not sure about:
Astro Orbiter Don't bother!
Magic CarpetsIt's Dumbo or Triceratop Spin - I wouldn't wait if there is a long line
Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise is great! Try to make it on this one.

I have done all rides/atttractions at MK atleast once we some trips now will skip certain rides and they have been:
Swiss Family Treehouse
Tiki Room
Riverboat (we skip and do it every other trip)
Country Bears Jamboree
Hall of Presidents( we skip and do it every other trip)
Carousel of Progress
Astro Orbiter

I agree with the others... do Jungle cruise all my kids like it we never skip

We skip the flying carpets. My DD (8) loves everything else, especially presidents and tiki room.

Tiki Room, We like it if only for a brief sit down in AC
Riverboat, We always skip
Country Bears Jamboree, A great escape from a downpour! Your son may actually like it tho.
Hall of Presidents, Skip
Stitch's Great Escape Skip
Carousel of Progress. We always like it and I remember it from when I was a kid.

Astro Orbiter We always skip
Magic Carpets A must do. The kids like to "drive" and have the spitting camel get me...

The Jungle Cruise is a must do. Especially at night

For some reason my kids love the carousel of progress. Their first time they were 4 and 6.

They really like jungle cruise and astro orbiter as well.

We don't have kids yet but DH and I have made hall of presidents an only when they add a new president attraction

-Caroseul of Progress
-Stitchs Great Escape (I advise strongly AGAINST this with kids in tow!)
-Teacups
-Speedway->we travel without kids, this is just pointless

We tried just about everything to see what they liked - now we skip everything they didn't like. Usually Adventureland and the Teacups - plus a few others. But we always try something before we decide if we don't like it.

I would do the Jungle Cruise at night if you have the time and the riverboat is a great place to rest and take pictures. Otherwise I agree with you.

Dumbo (although this is tough now with new Fantasyland. DD actually prefers the Magic Carpets because she likes to try and get DH and I wet)

Jungle Cruise is fun especially at night so I'd reconsider that.

We usually skip Teacups and The Carousel.
