What rides can you pass off a child on?

My son is 38 inches tall, hopefully by the time we go in September he will have grown to get on the 40" rides BUT....

What adult rides can we take him through the line and pass him through while we take turns riding? I think you can on some but not all...

Thanks!

I don't think you can take him through the lines on any ride that he's not tall enough for. A CM is posted at the entrance to check the heights of children and if they're not tall enough, they will not let you by. They will give you a "child swap" ticket (like a FastPass) so that one adult can ride alone and the second adult can go through the FastPass line when the first one returns.

It works out pretty well... and I believe that if you have a taller child with you also, that child can ride with the first adult and then again with the second adult. I've never done this before, but I've heard lots of people say that they do.

a family in front of us did this with a baby on Splash Mtn. They were stopped by every CM and each time they had to explain what they wanted to do...but they were allowed to do it. When they got to the loading platform, Dad and the older child rode while Mom and baby stepped through the log and waited at the exit ramp. When our log came back and we were getting out, Mom came over and handed baby to Dad who got out and waited at the Exit while Mom hopped in to ride again with the older child. The CM at the front, another further up the line and then one at the area where anyone who can't go up steps is taken to another part of the line all stopped them and all offered baby swap tickets but I guess they were on their way home and only wanted to go through the line once (it was already the fast pass line).

We did the fast pass last year with him (for swaping) and there seemed to be almost no point. Fast pass only got you through the outer line but not the inside line. When we went it was the same wait either way and it was not always that short, so we had to each wait to ride 1 ride. I was hopeing there was a better system :( We will most likely hire a sitter for a half day a few times (during nap time ;))so we can get in a few rides. That may keep him in a better mood anyway.... real naps every once in a while instead of in a stroller.

Thanks!
