For instance could he go on Shrek or jimmy neutron? I would love to hear what rides other people have brought their two year olds on.

Thanks

When our DD was just 2 my DH took her on the woody wood pecker roller coaster. She loved it so much she didn't want to get off! Also she loved the unicorn roller coaster. She is tall for her age and just met the height requirment.

This info should give you a better idea of what rides your son will be able to get on. Don't forget that for the "grown up" rides, you can always do a baby swap.

Edited to add: I see that it doesn't list any height restriction for the Shrek attraction. I believe that just like Jimmy Neutron, there is stationary seating available in the theatre.

You can take him on Jimmy neutron but one of you will have to sit in the front on the bench. You can take him in Twister, Earthquake, ET (we took ours and put him on a bike, but had to keep a hand on him), Jaws, T2. Mine LOVED the little roller coasters. There is a waterslide at Feivel's he can do. My son had a blast at this age. There are a lot of water play areas, be prepared.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know exactly how the baby swap works? Do you tell the attendant you want to do baby swap before you enter the building where the ride is or do you wait until you are ready to board the ride?
Thanks

I took my 18 month old 3 weeks ago. He is the size of a 2 year old.
First, his favorites were Barney & ET. He was able to ride ET with no problems. We were told he was too small for the woody coaster.
We also did the cat in the Hat spin ride, and Jaws. Well, Jaws got him scared. It would have been better to baby swap.
We had 4 people in my party, me, my husband, my 8 year old, & the 18 month old. This is how we worked baby swap, Me and my 8 year old would go on, then my 8 year old and my Husband went on. So my 8 year old always got to ride twice.

Even though my little son wasn't able to ride much, he had a ball.

Tell the person standing at the entrance to the ride and they will tell you what you need to do. In most cases you all wait in line together. They will probably stop you if he is too small for the ride anyway.

A lot depends on your 2 year old - they may be frightened of ET as it's quite dark in places and Jaws probably a bit scary too. Safe bets are Barney Show, Cat in the Hat in a non-spinning car, one fish two fish, Fievels playground, Me-Ship, The Olive - a boat full of fun - slides, water cannons, Camp Jurassic - fun volcanic play to explore and climb and obviously all these rides should be done with mummy and daddy over and over again!!!:D

Thanks everyone. As usual these boards are an excellent source of information.
