We are thinking about going when our baby is about a year old and just wondering how many rides he will actually be able to go on.

Basicly your ds can ride3 everything without a height restriction. We visited with my bil and sil just this past December when my neice was just over a year and had a blast. She loved everything we rode including haunted mansion, pirates, snow white and even the malestrom. As soon as we hit the parks she would ask for "more boats" as that became her name for every ride - "boats now?" and "more boats?"!

Have fun.

WE took our 7m on just about everything last fall. He had a blast, or slept/nursed through it. What he couldn't go on, we just baby swapped with. My 3.5 loved that--he got to go twice in a row. We're going back in a few months when the baby will be 15m, and I think we'll love it even more

We just came back with our 10 month old DD. She rode:

Peter Pan
Snow White
Pooh
Dumbo
Carousel (me standing beside her)
Tea Cups
PhilharMagic
the MK train
TTA
Buzz Lightyear
Pirates of the Carribean
Hall of Presidents
Haunted Mansion
Magic Carpets
Tiki Room
Country Bear Jamboree

basically, everything at MK except Splash, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, and Stitch

We went when dd was 2 weeks shy of one yr old & still crawling. She went on everything without a ht restriction. We brought our baby bjorn (although she was pretty big!). It helped to hold her in line & even on some rides. She was in the stroller the rest of the time. We went back to our room for a nap mid day & tried to keep her normal schedule. I brought a bottle of water & a packet of formula & by the time she needed a bottle the water was warm! She was only afraid of the non human characters, nothing else. She did not mind dark rides or loud noises. She was actually easier then the 4yr old!! :)

I agree with JessetheCowGirl: "basically, everything at MK except Splash, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, and Stitch"

Also, avoid any of the shows that require standing to watch them -- you won't be able to take the stroller in, the show probably won't interest the baby, and you'll get tired of holding him.

Also, plan on taking an afternoon break away from the parks, if you can. You and he will need it.

We're taking our little girl (will be 1 tomorrow!) and our 3 year old son in April. We last took our son when he was 2 and he loved it. Can't wait to see how my daughter enjoys herself!

EthansMom (and Molly's too)

What about some of the rides that worked for the little ones at the other parks?
