Hubby are I have just purchased our tickets to Disneyworld - I'm so excited! We'll be travelling with our 21 month old daughter and 6 month old son. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find out which attactions would be suitable for my daughter (or even my son?). We'll be going to the four major parks, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and MGM.

Also, would there be a way for me to go on one of the thrill rides and then for hubby to while we take turns watching the kids but not have to line up again?

Any and all tips are welcome!

Thanks

Baby swap!

The entire party presents at the entrance--one person waits in line while the other one rides. Be sure to fast pass another ride while hubby is waiting in line after you get your baby swap pass. And then when you swap--you enter through the fast pass line.

in the left column, you'll see where to click on the parks and you can look around and explore.

In Animal Kingdom, I think Dinosaur & Primevil Whirl would be out.

In EPCOT, Test Track, Mission Space, Soarin' would be out.

MGM, Tower of Terror & Rock N Roller Coaster would be out.

Magic Kingdom, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain would be out. Goofy Barnstormer is out due to age and height I believe. It's a kiddy coaster--but there is a minimum (but not to big) height requirement.

Baby swap all these attractions.

Snow White is "scary", so use your judgement--my girls are "scared" but they like to go it is so weird, but they love it. To the average person they problem must think I'm crazy.

Everything else is pretty much fair game.

I nice break ride at Magic Kingdom is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority formerly known (and still called that by me) the people mover.

Magic Kingdom has the best baby care center.

We just got back not to long ago from WDW. We went to the Magic Kindom. It has a lot for kids that age. My dd was 22 months when we went. She had so much fun. Are you planning on doing and autograph book that is so much fun too. We did that and got about 15 charchters to sign our book. We also made a reservation at the Crystal Palace for lunch. Pooh and friends come around to visit you in there. That was our first time ever going to WDW. Advice take a cooler. One that will fit in your stroller. Fill it with LOTS of water and snacks.

And yes "baby swap" is the coolest!

We took our ds to WDW at 13mos, 17mos, 21mos, and 23-1/2 mos. There is so much you can do with toddlers there. You will have a great time!

Here's a link to the WDW Height requirments calculator. You put in your dc's height and it will tell you which rides your restricted from: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/height.htm
Your kids will be restricted from anything with a height restriction. Because there are all kinds of parades and shows, and plenty of rides without restrictions, you will find plenty of things to do.

If you both want to ride something your kids can't then as the pp's stated you can get a rider swap pass from the cm at the front of the attraction and take turns. You can also do the same thing with fastpass or combine rider swap with FP.

i.e. get one fast pass for an attraction, then ask the CM for a rider swap pass. First rider enters the FP line using the fast pass. Once they get out of the attraction, the second parent/rider can then get in the FP line using the rider swap pass. Or you can just get two FP's and forgo the Rider swap pass altogether if it's just the two of you.

The one bonus to the Rider Swap pass over the Fast Pass is that you can have up to three riders with one rider swap pass whereas a Fast pass is only good for one rider per pass. Clear as mud? :) Hope that makes sense, lol.

Yeah, that part is cool when you have older children. Our first trip (when our youngest was ofcourse much younger and couldn't ride ANYTHING that required a height requirement LOL) it was really nice.. we got to ride things even though our youngest couldn't and our older two children got to ride first with one parent, then again with the other parent. So us parents were seperated- but the older kids got to ride twice pretty quickly (without standby line the 2nd time... or at all if we had fast passes for the ride in the first place). that was pretty cool- or atleast they sure thought so. LOL
